5 - I've only had bleeding gums during 2 pregnancies, my first and this one. Both times I wasn't really paying attention so I'm not really sure when it began. Can't wait to hear what they say Tuesday!

Lbam - sorry about the bfn but odds of a bfp @ 9dpo aren't high. I know it's tough but give it a few days and test again GL!!!

I am so confused and looking for some input!

Ok so i got the coil out 4th Jan - was told that it looked like it was already expelling itself!, i had a little bleeding on the thursday and sat then nothing since. The past couple of days i have noticed my cervix getting higher and softer (so high today i can hardly reach it), cm is also creamy with a slight stretch to it. I have been taking opk's daily (around lunch time) and i did have a line last week, but no where near positive the past couple of days it has been stark negative, to the point you cant tell where the line should be!! I was expecting a line today what with the cervix and cm changes and the sharp twinges i keep getting in my left side but nothing, nada!!

I did start temp'ing, but only since Tuesday - so far i have had 2 days of 36, 3 days of 36.1 and this morning of 36.3 (but i did temp later this morning so not sure if that would effect it!)

Any ideas? Should we bd tonight incase or wait?

Hi all,

Looks like I missed my OV day bcoz was using expired smileys OPKs. I had all the other symptoms till Friday with lower abdominal pain max on Friday night. Next day on saturday, Cervix moved down and by evening Saturday the mucus had turned creamy and all along my OPKs were negative. Last night, it just came to my mind whether OPKs are expired and yes,......they were. I had bought it 6 months ago. I am feeling stupid for not checking it and, was really sad that I will have to go through another month of torturous drinks and food. I guess even after that it's in god's hand to get me pregnant.

another thing that I noted was my OV was 2 days early and that may be contributed to grape fruit juice and royal jelly/polen bee that I was eating. However, the abdominal pain was less severe than other months...I also took alka setzler on friday(the day i observed pain). And, I read it has something to relieve the pain so may be the pain was lessened due to alka setzler. I generally feel hot around the peak time but this Friday was dealing with a deadline at work and really stressed out. So, did not feel any thing ....stress does spoil the whole thing.

I am trying to be positive....and the plan now is
1) continue with healthy diet not necessarily very high calorie...as I have already gained almost 10 lbs already.
2) will do drinks only from AF to OV....means I will stop the nasty drink now till AF comes.
3) Will continue with supplements as before.

Please suggest me if anything else I should be doing.

just saw your post....since you also mentioned about OPKs not giving positive..could you plz check confirm the expiration date on them?

At least your not obsessing about it which is nice.

Because I thought I was further DPO than I was I've just kept testing every day. 8dpo today for real... going so slow!

I feel queasy... is it too early for that? I am either 6 or 7 DPO. Seems early to me. I guess I will see if I get a BFP.

I'm very confused ...could it be that even when cervix has moved down the ovulation can occur in coming days. Also, did anyone have any experience with expired OPKs? The one I used has expiration date of dec 2011 and it did not give me positive when I tested few times in dec. too. However, I tested in December only 2 times around the days I saw some signs.

Also, can someone help with OV date for December month. I have heard that pinpointing OV backwards from the period date is easier but how do we do that? For example, 1st day of my period was 7 December and first day of next period was January 3rd. I thought I ovulated on 19th December...Which is 13th day from the first day of period in december but counting back from 3rd jan (first day of second cycle) ....it is 16th day...could this be incorrect?

Can someone please help?
