Lala, I meant to say that most here seem to have been BD soon after getting the smiley/+OPK. If you wait for 18 hours, you run the risk that you could miss O. I know that I usually O the day after I get a +OPK, however a couple of months I have O the same day as my +OPK. Perhaps you know what is normal for you?

Thanks Peony!
I did have PCOS before DS1 and they checked my ovaries and we saw tons of follicles unable to be released. However, since then I have not had the same problems and with normal FSH and TSH levels I should be ovulating and releasing a follicle.
I think I had one attempt around 0-2....debating trying again this am before work.
Welcome Lala!
I think I ended up doing your sway plan!
I bd just before or right when the positive OPK showed up.
It would be a little under 2 days.
Do you think that is good?
That is how we made DS 2 so I figure a 50-50 chance means this one should be a girl! lol!
Pinkin...my first son was 8 lbs 7 ounces and my second son was 7 lbs 15 ounces.
Not all second babies are bigger!

I'm taking my opk before or after lunch... have not had anything to drink since 10am so hopefully should be concentrated enough. I did check again and it does seem high, er, I think... and what CM I could get was little but seemed stretchy, i.e. can stretch between fingers... though very little amount! I'm not normally this 'dry', so allergy tablet must be working! I'm so paranoid about missing a positive OPK because I accidentally began testing late! How quickly on average would
CM change post ovulation? Writing this on my home so apologies on any strange typos!

Not necessarily, but for me, my boys were 9lbs 13oz, 8lbs 12oz, 7lbs 8oz & 8lbs 9oz.I do not dilate at all. So my first son was twelve hours of no dilation and overdue, which ended in a c-section. So a total of 4. Friends of ours just gave birth to a 10.5 baby boy vaginally and she did just fine.

pinkin - have you considered hypnobirthing? I did this for my first birth and it really does help you manage yourself so you don't interpret it as pain. I had a good birth (pain-free, other than crowning) using those techniques.
