Update: Went to the dr as my back is killing feels like early labour and I have very painful cramping, my hcg is only a 3. Dr said I will most likely start bleeding any day now. I have repeat bloods tomorrow but he said it doesn't look promising

I am sooooooo sorry, TTC5. I know it happens to all of us (so don't feel alone), but it just sucks even if you thought you were pg for a day. I hope you are feeling ok. But- the good thing is that you DID get pregnant! So you know your ovaries are kicking out eggs that your DH's sperm is getting to.....all good things. Just like for me, just hold out hope that one day it will happen and stick. xxooooxxxxoooooo

Lola, Hobber I am 8dpo too.. Initially had thought of testing on Sunday (13dpo) but now have moved it forward to Saturday (12dpo).. Cant wait! My boobs feel normal too

My boobs didn't hurt with any of my viable pregnancies that turned into my girls. It's totally random if your boobs hurt, so don't fret! So Saturday morning will be a cross-country POAS-fest!

yea im with lola, my breasts never hurt either.
ttc5 im so sorry hun. but yes i agree if its 5 you aren't pregnant but you have to be over 25 to get a bfp. im not sure i always got negative hpt but postive blood work. i heard the blood work was more accurate but i guess thats not true in your case. hope you have a sticky bean in there.

I would know in the back of your mind that this may not be it...but relax, remain hopeful and test daily...same time and compare tests and see if AF arrives. Nothing else you can do I guess.

TTC5, I agree with POP's advice. You just don't know, so try your best to relax.

About the hcg levels, here is my experience with my chemical last year: Got bfp at 11dpo. Did 3 tests on 11,12, and 14 dpo, and they got darker. So, 14dpo would have been 4 weeks preg exactly. At 5 weeks exactly (so, 21dpo), I was spotting and went to the doc (a new one, mind you). She did a urine test and it came in stark white negative. The doc comes in and tells me I was not ever pregnant and treats me a bit like I was a crazy women, which pissed me off. I told her I had 3 + tests, which she does not acknowledge because the test they took (a 25ml sensitivity) came back start white. So, within a week, I had a test go from really dark to dead white. I don't know if that means anything, and correlates with Bec's info about urine and blood and hcg levels. (I never had a beta done.)

5, that is weird that you are getting a definite positive digi today!!! What is the sensitivity of that? I will be praying like a maniac that this bub sticks.....but if not, your #5 is on the way soon, I know it.

HI FLAVA! I miss you! Don't worry, you'll get there with the weight loss, I swear! Just cutting back on the "stuff your face" diet and adding more and more physical activity will jump start your metabolism to work harder.

And thank you for the bfp wishes....I really need something good to happen soon, because I'm keeping hope alive, but it gets farther away from me each month. xxoo

5 - I just remembered this. When dd1 turned 2 we went out to dinner and I got food poisoning, 4 days later I was still crazy sick. I went to the dr and they preformed a full blood panel. It revealed 0 indication of pregnancy and elevated liver levels, 2 days later I got a solid bfp. The dr didn't believe it and had me test again in his office, bfp. A week later I was still pregnant and diagnosed with mono. That little bean turned 7 in November. Keep your head up, I'm still hopeful. If things don't work out, ita with Lola. You got preg and it'll happen again

Good story, Jen. Important to remember that doctors (and tests) can *sometimes* be wrong- because the person who administered or recorded them is wrong, or because your body is doing something unique, in which case the medical community can sometimes not believe since so many doctors are trained to go with protocol and textbook cases and don't deal well with variation. Heck, when I was pg with DD1, I had just had a chemical 2 weeks before I ovulated and got pg, so I went in for 3 week checkup from my m/c and told my doc at the time, "I think I am pregnant again." It was literally at 14dpo or so. She LAUGHED at me and told me that you can't get pregnant right after a miscarriage. Well, I had fun laughing at her ass and saying "I told you so" when my hpt that I made her do came back positive.
