Best time for nub shots?

Is 13 weeks and 5 days a bit late for a good and accurate nub shot? I see most of the good ones 12 - 13 weeks? Tia

Nope! I had my 14w3d u/s and had amazing pics of the nub and I even got a great potty shot too! I think that much past 14 weeks it's actually better to just wait until you're closer to 16w and then get a potty shot but below 14w is great because the angle will not change much at all and you will have a really accurate shot/guess. The margin for error is way less at 14w than at 12w. Here's my shots just in case you were interested The first pic in the thread is my 19w u/s pic but the three underneath it are the 14w3d pics.

I think 12 - 13 weeks is just when most ladies have a scan, so they upload those piccys for opinions, thats why we see so many in that age group.

Oh thanks I feel a bit better I just feel so sick of thinking about the next two weeks, my ultrasound is on the 19th of January, I had my first one at 11 weeks and 3 days a few days ago and I'm so not good at nubs even though I think there is nubs but I also know its too early. Can you tell me how I can post the two pictures please? There on my email but I don't know what else to do, I think one looks girl and the other pic looks boy I've tried comparing them to others but I'm going blind.

13 weeks is perfect.

13+5 is perfect! very reliable if you get a good shot. My dds profile gender shot 13 weeks looked pretty much identical to the one at 19 weeks... like a clitoris in profile.

is it even more visible at a 15-16 week ultrasound? when does a potty or toilet view become good for guessing?
