Suregena~ Sorry about the BFN... I had a BFN in November and it was the first time every. DS1 first attempt, DS2 oopsie, angle baby- surprise!! So I know how you feel I was pretty confident it would happen first shot- but on the upside maybe what we are doing is working!!

My 2 boys are 16 months apart-never would have planned it that way, but it is the BEST thing ever. I often think this next baby would be better off a girl (not only bc I am dying for a girl) but bc if it was a boy he'd feel left out of their relationship. A girl would be special in her own way. However, I also have seen sibs 12 years apart with the greatest relationships. I think its all about the dynamic of the relationship/their personalities etc. not their ages!

    AND lets go FEBRUARY!!!!!
    Cycle#1 Jan/Feb 2013: 10 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 8 fertilized. 1 expanded blast frozen to batch.

    Cycle #2 May/June 2013: 17 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fertilized, 3 blasts frozen. Sending all 4 to Natera: 2 normals- 1 girl (cycle 2) & 1 boy (cycle 1)

    Cycle #3 September 2013: 11 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 8 fertilized. 4 biopsied. 2 normal boys

    FET #1: October 25th: BFN

    Cycle#4: Feb/March 2014: 12 eggs retrieved, 11 mature, 10 fertilized. 1 normal XX! Transfer March 3rd. BFP: 3/9/14!!!! Beta: 7dp6dt:38, 9dp6dt:139!, 6weeks 1 day: heartbeat!!!

She's here and I'm in love

I believe if I had used Rephresh for my Dec. cycle that I wouldn't have gotten pregnant.

I know there are many swayers who have used Rephresh and did get pregnant, but I felt like for *me* it was akin to birth control! I just don't think my husband's swimmers could have navigated through it. Plus, I'm not old by any means, but I'll be 34 in April, and I knew my own fertility was just not at the peak like it used to be, so that was a consideration for me too.

I still think swaying pink is so hard because of the impact to your fertility you do want to make, but too much won't get you preggers. I still really believe even if my husband and I DID want to keep DTD'ing until we got a BFP (we were previously going to take a break until April), that if I had kept using Rephresh it might have taken UNTIL April or later to concieve.

So it's a real deeply personal choice and decision how much to put into the sway vs. wanting to get pregnant in a certain time-table. For me, getting pregnant in a certain time-table trumped wanting a "perfect sway."

I couldn't have said it better myself, auroara. I decided to drop parts of the sway too since last summer it took me 4 months to get pregnant, and I only got that BFP after I dropped the rephresh. I wasn't willing to wait 4 months or longer this time. Some women are super fertile and can get pregnant on the first try with a full sway (like our beloved zanacal), but I think women like that are few and far between.

If I am indeed not pregnant, I think I'll stick with the antihistamine and drop the repHresh. We'll see.

I am definitely dropping RepHresh in Feb. The Sylk will stay (b/c I need it down there now...TMI ) No more FR for DH either! This will be our 3rd attempt TTC so I really want to get knocked up this round....Failure is not an option, lol!

Right now, I'm still waiting on AF. Wish it would get here soon b/c I'm ready to start this next cycle!

My boys are the same spacing too! They're best buddies and worst enemies! Usually best buddies, though!

Amari, any sign of AF? I’m still waiting too

LMN7...I'm so excited for you to start testing!

Regarding Replens/RepHresh, you may want to choose RepHresh (over Replens) b/c it keeps pH low even when sperm come on the scene (since semen raises the overall pH inside). Replens doesn't keep working for that long & probably won't be as beneficial to you as your pH is already low. If you find you're not getting preg though, you may want to drop RepHresh all together, especially w/your naturally low pH. Hope this makes sense...I feel like I've not worded this well...

OOTB hun i wont be testing this month as we didnt dtd this time, was just saying i think my body is playing tricks on me this month i think it knows i want to be pregnant with my girl sooooooooooooooo much its getting me thinking all sorts lol,

thanks for the advice on rephresh its weird as before the diet my ph was 7.5 !!! and now is 4.5 and went to 4.75 just before ovulation (thats if i worked out when O actually was) its just il be on clomid next month for my first attempt and i dont want to be on it for long as i used it 3 times in the past with 2 pregnancies, worked a charm for me before, but didnt know if your supposed to use rephresh if you have a low ph to begin with if you know what i mean,

Littlemiss, with you being on Clomid, I wouldn't use Rephresh or replens, if anything I'd maybe use Sylk since that's a lube that's good for TTC pink.

There is a 7 year age gap between my brother and me and we were very close growing up. I used to wish I had another sibling closer in age, but I was the "last chance" baby so they decided to get pregnant one last time after before deciding that 3 was enough. My two sisters are 12 and 10 years older though, and I'm not very close to them, although they are nice, etc. I just felt like I could never relate to what they went through. Now that I have young children, they have young teenagers, so the age gap continues, but now for the cousins. My two sons are the youngest of the whole brood; my 2nd sister's last baby, Teddy, is going to be 6 in April; at family get-togethers, Teddy and my oldest, Quinten, do play together well.

My brother's step son Justin is 14 and he's really good at humoring my oldest too; he lets my oldest pound on him with a nerf sword/gun. It's so cute! My oldest really thinks he's "getting it" but it's only because he lets him.
