    Re boys age differences.....

    i have and 8 year old, a 5 year old, a 3 year old and a 17 month old.

there are 22 months between the youngest 2, and they get along really well.
there will also be a 22 month gap again with the youngest and this one.

my eldest however dosent really have anything whatsoever to do with the youngest.
but in saying that, my 5 year old, loves the youngest to bits and plays with him really well.

i know age gaps can be negative sometimes, but i think alot of it has to do with the individual personalities of the children.
my 5 year old is a real 'mother hen' type of person, he just loves babies and little cute things, which i guess is why he gets along with the younger ones so well.
my eldest is not like that at all, he prefers his own space, and would rather play video games by himself that go and play chasings with his brothers.

my younger brother is another good example.
    sorry if this gets confusing.....lol

there are 6 of us, me, bro 1, bro 2, bro 3, sis 1, sis 2,
15 years difference between me and the youngest.
most of us were born really close together, but he had big age gaps either side.

now the brother im refering to is bro 2,

he was a middle child, 5 years between him and bro 2 and 5 years between him and bro 3.

there was 7 and 8 years between him and the youngest 2.
but he got along with them really well. played with them, hung out with them.
and even now, hes 23, and my boys love him to bits, hes great with them.
and he is their fave uncle because he plays with them, and watches movies with them, and brings them treats and stuff.

hes just one of those types of people.

so i guess what im saying is, try not to worry to much about age gaps, because i really do believe the person them self has more to do with it than age does....
