I do not mind at all and would love to hear feedback on me using it. My LH is in the 8 and below range and I am having breakthrough spotting during my cycles. My cycles vary from very short to very long and my OB said I am not Oing, so hence the Clomid. One of my recent LP was just 8 days, so I am hoping the Clomid will help with this? Is that a good reason? I also have a small fibroid that might be causing some of the anemia.

Hi everyone,
Good to see some action on the swayers over 35 board!
I think I am cd 7 and I hope to o on Valentines Day but it looks more like it is going to be sooner.
For some reason I o on ced 12 or 14 or sometime in between. I wish it was more obvious and I could just relax and dtd with no question.
Good question for kd...does clomid help uterine lining?
I used it in the past bc I did not ovulate.
I have read a lot about accupuncture and I would like to try it but I have not had a lot of time lately.
Also, it is a lot of money and I do not have a lot of coverage for naturopathic medicine.
It might be something for those of us over 35 to try!!!
ilundgirl, 3 months is not bad...and really it might have been part of the process of trying again,...no regrets!
iilundgirl and my girl, I had a 26 day cycle and I ovulated on cd 12...same thing!
Were you like that before? Or, was it bc of vitex?
kd...what are you doing on the computer...lol!
HOPE!!! how are you?
What are you eating? Are you doing a diet? How are the kids???
GL everyone!

I am not sure of that. I think it thins and that is why you cannot use it for very long. Was going to use baby aspirin but never got it, and that is supposed to make the lining fluffy or something like that better to implant in?
I am obsessed I guess LOL! I am trying to get the kids to bed, but had to check on last time LOL!!4238,

Lemon - I'm on D6, and also expected to O around the 12th. Yay, we are on similar cycles! My cycle used to be 27 days when I had DS1 (I was 34). Around 36, they started getting shorter to 24-25 days and stayed shorter after DS2. I never took vitex.

Hi Lemon! Clomid doesn't help your lining actually it can hurt your lining by making it too thin. Which is why you can pnly be on it time limited.
I am doing well. Yes I am doing the LE diet very strict 1200 calories a day. I truly believe it is the most important part of the sway! Hope your doing well. Whats happening with you.Cycle#1 Jan/Feb 2013: 10 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 8 fertilized. 1 expanded blast frozen to batch.
Cycle #2 May/June 2013: 17 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fertilized, 3 blasts frozen. Sending all 4 to Natera: 2 normals- 1 girl (cycle 2) & 1 boy (cycle 1)
Cycle #3 September 2013: 11 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 8 fertilized. 4 biopsied. 2 normal boys
FET #1: October 25th: BFN
Cycle#4: Feb/March 2014: 12 eggs retrieved, 11 mature, 10 fertilized. 1 normal XX! Transfer March 3rd. BFP: 3/9/14!!!! Beta: 7dp6dt:38, 9dp6dt:139!, 6weeks 1 day: heartbeat!!!

Just my 2 cents you can take it or leave it. The diet is not only about PH. Ph may or may not even sway- It's about making your body think that times are tough and that the maternal condition is poor. It gives your body a chance to conceive a girl bc they require less calories from conception to birth and throughout adulthood. DH's diet is not important the way DW's is. It is possible the reason you are not getting preggo is the 0+ timing. For us, "mature mommas" the egg is most likely dead by 0+. Your better off dtd before and during O and doing the diet. The recent research shows more girls born from DTD on O day! Again just my 2 cents, and there are some great threads on here all about the maternal condition and timing (including why not to do 0+ over 35). These are the sway factors that are actually backed by research!
Good luck whatever you decide!!Last edited by HopeandDreamG; February 7th, 2012 at 11:15 AM.
