Hi Ladies - jumping in. Sorry have been away for awhile. Work's been kicking my ass. I am 4dpo and back in the waiting game. 9dpo is our wedding anniversary and DH has planned a date night. Its too early to test and I wasnt sure if I should have any alcohol. Any thoughts?

Personally I wouldn't...after my chemical in dec I was even kicking myself for drinking coffee during my 2ww....I just wouldn't want any regrets at all in case.

Thanks Yahmama. This is our second month TTC and the first month i was very good about alcohol but BFN! I am not sure how long will it take to conceive but you're right - if I drink and do end up getting a BFP I would regret it. Anyway I do plan on testing at 9dpo. I bought a lot of cheapies so will try for fun!

I do have a cup of tea everyday though! and I had a couple of glasses of wine last night.. ugh! Now, I feel bad about that

soni - great to see you in the 2ww. I have been having a couple of alcoholic drinks here and there throughout my cycles, i was under the impression that until you get the BFP the sticky bean isn't attached to your blood yet so it wouldnt really matter if you had a drink?

Cinss, I sure hope that is the case. DD was an oopsie, so I definitely was drinking the month before we found out. Those were the crazy, fun days before kids! lol

Soni, welcome I would hold off on the alcohol too. I had a few drinks in the 2ww and ended up having a chemical. I know it's not what would have caused it but it doesn't stop you worrying.

OnlyPraying, hopefully AF's no show is a good sign!
