Here are my 5 wk and a bit scan pictures (not 7 wks like one of them says). My OB kept reassuring me that the placenta was in the correct location and I neednt worry about it being ectopc (I DIDNT, I just wanted to know what side it was on). She said "its right in the middle of the womb" doh.... but I couldnt tell her I was obsesing over gender

Who knows how to read these vaginal scans, what side is this placenta on ? Thanks so much xx

Thanks chocolate. Can you tell me how you locate the placenta? Just sort of going from teh scanning head (the black half circle)??

Oh sorry no idea but my guess is that it cant be that far from where bubs is growing!

ok thanks. Maybe my baby hasnt decided yet if its to be a boy or a girl so it sticks in the centre

At 8 weeks my ultrasound showed bean right in the center too. The tech wouldn't even guess on the placenta placement at all

I think center could be good, could be a chance at girl
