It looks fine to me too - although I'm thinking there's a reason to limit cauliflower and broccoli, I'll see if I can remember why or where I read that! I'm sure you didn't eat much of it though and there are no magic foods! Have you joined the latest food thread where other ladies are sharing their daily food diaries?

Deaks - {hugs}. I've read that the important part is how quickly your levels are rising and that the level itself isn't so important, some babies just implant later/slower.

I thought cauliflower you could have as much as you want (as long as it fits in with your limits), but broccoli only in limits with it being a supergreen and having too many nutrients?

Yes, you're right! I think the thing I'm thinking of (which is still stuck at the back of my mind!) is relevant for boy swayers - bare with me, I'll remember it soon!

Here it is - and this was on a thread aimed at boy swayers, so bare that in mind when reading!

Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage (also called cruciferous vegetables) contain a chemical that has been shown to raise testosterone but may do so at the expense of estrogen. We want things that will boost BOTH our testosterone and our estrogen. Eating a cruciferous veggie here and there will not affect you negatively, but there is a supplement based on this chemical called DIM which we may want to stay away from.

Went to the docs today after having my first lot of bloods done on tues afternoon. My hcg levels came back as 790. The doc seemed to think this was low and certainly in the range he showed me it does look it. However does the fact that i ov a bit late sometime between cd 18 and 20 change things? im hoping it technically makes baby younger than average cd14 ov so levels perhaps dont look so bad? On tuesday it would have been approx 17 days since conception and if i look at this website Normal hCG Levels in Pregnancy | BabyMed.com .... my levels look fine. What do you reckon? feeling a but teary and not getting my next bloods done til this afternoon so have to wait til monday to talk to doc again and see how much they have risen. X
My levels at 10 dpo were 14 and I was told probably chemical but I said implantation had prob. only just happenned.

Are they repeating tests? Hope it just takes a few more days for them to double xx

But they are quite pricey, around £500! Looking to find cheaper as although Dh can do most of the conversion, he would want someone to put them in properly and move the access hatch,he could close up the old hatch. And we were quoted around £1500 for 4 velux windows fitted (1 being a fire exit) Dh can do all the plasterboarding, flooring (all the joinery work). He then just needs a plasterer as my dad can do the Electrics (already lights up there and a few sockets) and my FIL is a plumber, he can fit radiators. So we'd need to get a small loan to cover costs. But prob better than losing so much £!!

Charlie, I needed to know to prepare myself this time either way and I'm sure u will know deep down what's best for u! I couldn't help myself!! Taking the boys made it so much more fun, why not make it a family day? Sure ur Dh will support u whatever u want to do.

Wishing, ur time to start TTC is fairly coming round!!!! April!

Deaks, what I would give for 2 days of peace!! ENJOY!!

After weeks of Aubergines....I now have small pumpkins!!

It's my 33rd Birthday tom and just got a gorgeous bunch of flowers from my SIL (dh's twin) as I won't be home tom. Will post a pic later on Fb to let his SIL see them. Lucky me!!! Dh slipped up 2 days ago and I knew they were coming! MEN!!!!!!!! But still lovely!
I think we had space saving stairs but took them down as they were in the 2nd room and needed to plaster. We could possibly create a stair way in the dressing area of our bedroom with a door to the hall to access it but means loosing our wardrobe space. Ideally though it has to be in hall area as no point having seperate rooms if they have to enter through one room. Sounds like you know handy people so should keep costs down
