Hello lovelies!
sorry been away so much, back now and feeling better!
Good luck with the results deaks FX
sunset, sorry serena is poorly, hope she gets better soon.
Maybe- havn't seen you for ages, hope I bump into you again soon. those last few weeks are SO hard, hang in there ((hugs))
afm, have my private scan booked for thurs, don't know if I want to go and actually find out!! I'm in a good place just being pg and finally being able to enjoy it, don't want to spoil it with gd....but I guess I also want to know and the sooner in a way the better. the only prob is I'd have to go on my own with ds2 and then I'd have no time after on my own if I need it as then it is school pick up and grandad visit etc....I just don't know
Anyway, will be on again later, have a good day ladies.

Pinga, lovely to hear from you! so glad you are doing ok and i totally know what you mean when its easier if a friend tells you they are expecting a boy...and i dont think its selfish of you at all!
Indigo, lovely to hear from you too! so glad also that you are in a lovely place with your pg..... after my wobbly first week where i didnt know how i felt, i too now feel happy just tp be pg and am happy with the prospect of another boyWill be looking forward to hearing about your scan! Perhaps having ds2 with you will make you feel stronger to cope.
So i got my results at last and not only had they doubled in 48hrs but they had trebled...yippee! Plus i had worked out that for 18/19 dpo they were already above average and at 20/21 dpo they were far above average
Sunset, glad serena is better today2007

hiya girls! had a rough week
was going to my mams on saturday when some old lady crashed into the back of me doing around 30/40 mph whilst i was stationary waiting for a vehicle to turn right. I was on my own with the 2 boys, but thankfully were all okay. Did go to hospital as i was worried about the baby and the boys and my back and neck were hurting. Ds1 also complained his neck was hurting. At the moment we have a courtesy car as ours looks like its a write off.
got my results back from the downs syndrome test they do and pleased it was 1:50,000
Hope everyone is okay!!! will try and catch up!Mommy to2006

Lmw gosh what a horrible time for you, hope you are all ok x
Deaks so glad your levels are good!! See all that panic, we knew you'd be fine hun!
Indigo if you don't feel ready you can cancel or re-schedule, if your ok with things now maybe you could stay team green?
Afm well not much going on really lol, me and Charlie had lunch with a friend this afternoon it was nice but Charlie was tired and not the nicest of childrenI know it's quite normal at 2 and a half but made me feel like I couldn't control him.
Does anyone dye their hair? Unfortunatly I've noticed far too many grey hairsmy problem is that even shampoo going over my face can cause my eyes to puff up again, also not sure about doing it while pregnant! I guess I need to find something natural but haven't got a clue where to start?

Hello and Happy pancake day ladies
Littlemisswilko ~ OMG how scary! so happy to hear you're all alright!! how could she not see you? :S
Deaks ~ Yay!!! so happy for you! i've been thinking about you today and hoping you would get good news so that's made my day!now you just need a pregnancy ticker
Indigoviolet ~ awww i can't believe you're next up to find out! that's come around so quick!! good luck, i'll be here stalking for sure and i promise to wear something pink for youwe really need some more pink news on here so fingers crossed this is your girl!!
charlieispy ~ i have a feeling these 4 weeks are gonna drag for youare you excited to see your baby in 4d? did you have a 4d scan with the others?
pinga ~ you're not a horrible friend at all! for me it's a bit different, i don't necessarily think it's easier just because someone is expecting a boy, what gets my gd clock ticking is when people get their pigeon pairs... which is everyone i know since i'm the only without the pigeon pair! i hate the feeling of jealousy since i have absolutely no reason to feel bitter, but i find it so unfair that they've never had to suffer through gender comments left to right from friends and complete strangers and the whole "you'll have to try again for that girl". i think it's rather hurtful when someone announces a pigeon pair on fb and they get the classic comment "you have the perfect family now"... what does that mean really??? is my family not perfect just because i didnt have a boy and a girl first? *big sigh* that's it, rant over! lol
afm Serena is fever free today so i'm very very happy! i was so worried yesterday when she was burning upi feel sorry for her having to eat the horrible antibiotics but she doesn't seem to mind, she actually thinks the calpol is far worse and pulls all sorts of faces lol
i can't believe how unlucky we've been this half term, first ds1 got an ear infection, then ds1 and ds2 got the sickness bug and then dd gets a chest infection.... i really hope we can all stay healthy for a while now!

I think those feelings are normal! i know i feel like that if my boys are playing up while we're out.. dont worry too much about it hun ((hug))
I do, but i didn't dare to have my haired dyed while i was pregnant.. i have been told though several times that it's safe to dye your hair when you're pregnant

Does anyone of you ladies or your partners have a kindle reader or perhaps any other type of e-book reader? and what are your thoughts on them?
I got a kindle for christmas and i love it, but at the same time i really cant shake the feeling that it's not the same as reading a real paper book. it annoys me that i don't get a 'book' or something 'real' iykwim but just an 'information file'.. i find that i do my research much more now before i buy a book, and if the kindle book is near the same price as the paper book i tend to always by the paper copy. I don't want to sound cheap but i just think £4 (as is the price of most books in ASDA) is alot of money for a 'file' that i don't even own the copyrights to.. :S perhaps i'm just stuck in the olden age lol
