Kell Im like that in pregnancy too with my OH, normally he does annoying selfish stuff but I ignore it, now I have a rant to him over it! Hormones suck! I have really happy positive days and then days where I feel run down and weak. Hope we perk up when the sun shines, not long till better weather.

Lavenderlime I forgot about that with the baby being sleepy, DS1 was and wouldnt feed so had to have formula although I should have expressed thinking about it. He also had low sugar levels too but that was gd

Charlie I'm getting worried now too. Let us know your ok x

Deaks I live in a hamlet. Slowly over ten years the shop, post office and pubs have all shut down. The buses are going to be scrapped to. I am at least 1.5 mile from a corner shop but luckily five mins walk to the train station! You can not live here without a car. I grew up in a big town and went to uni in London so hated it when I first moved here. Now I love it! Only thing is I consider people walking past the house as weird as there is hardly anyone living here. Don't know how I would cope living around lots of people now.

Maybepink- those comments are just typical, I'm getting them also almost daily, it is SO boring to always be having to pretend to be happy with whatever gender etc etc. I'm only just starting out and I'm so fed up with them. Yesterday a friend said, 'you must be hoping for a girl'. Like you said, people don't mean to be hurtful they are just making conversation but it is a constant reminder and hurts

Maybebaby- lovely to see you today. epidurals are wonderful! Like sunset said, you can still move your legs and feel some pressure etc but NO pain! I'm sure you will have the best labour yet! try and relax and think positive as that definitely helps too.

Sorry girls, feeling pretty rubbish and negative at the moment. Heading off to bed in a min, so tired and pg hormones...not fun! Wish I could wave a magic wand and give all of us our dream....

Hugs to everyone feeling down.... I know what you mean. There are really low days aren't there. I think I am really getting used to the idea of another boy. Desperately trying to force myself to think about what we are getting rather than what we aren't getting... but like others said - its those constant reminders! All my friends have girls so I'm always having to buy presents for girls

I would love to move to the country but I also want to be near things I want the best of both worlds! I went to uni in Aberystwyth and I loved being in a fairly small place and out of the way! We have been looking at Ely as a potential place in the UK. Anyone know the area? Any opinions?

I'm into my hippy births. With DS1 I just had gas and air and I had nothing with DS2 - although to be fair they wouldn't have had time to even do an epidural. They asked if I wanted gas for the stitches after DS2 and I remember looking at him and saying - I just pushed a baby out of there... I think I can handle stitches I'm planning to go with nothing again this time but I never say never to anything!! After DS2 the midwife asked if I was doing hypnobirthing.... which I wasn't. You just have to go with what is right for you. I HATE needles so really didn't want an epidural and "no pethidene" was my 2 word birth plan

I would say I'm more anxious about this birth too. Silly huh? I think its more that I'm worried about whether I'll get to help in time. I really don't want to be having this baby on my own at home!!! DS2 was 55 minute birth. DH works about 20mins away so I hope he gets to me in time. Have to make sure my ambulance membership is up to date - we have to pay yearly subscription for ambulance here.

Indigo/maybepink - I haven't had too many comments yet and I'm glad for that. I do find that sometimes I'll mention something about the pregnancy and someone will say - maybe that means its a girl and the comment just hits me out of the blue like a punch. People just love to make conversation and don't realise that it can make us so sad.

Anyways... think I'll take the boys to the library this morning - its a wet morning in Melbourne!

Pinga, I know ELy a bit as o grew up not far away! It's a lovely town or city I suppose as it has a cathedral but it's small. The county of Cambridgeshire is lovely though flat and a bit uninspiring to look at. The fens is a funny area which I guess ely is in and there are some villages I definately wouldn't recommend but I think ely is a lovely place. Cambridgeshire on the whole is a pretty affordable county which is great and Cambridge is a fantastic city to be near to. I live an hour south and house prices are virtually double.

Sunset, you are so right, the countryside is my dream and I need to remember that when Im having a wobble.

Thanks for your opinions on town v country ladies! The village we are looking at is very close to two towns and not far from the town I live in now either so nothing would be too far to get to, would just have to get used to being in the car more. The house is quite far outside the village which is a shame in a way but think we will just use our bikes more, though it's pretty hilly just round there!

So sorry you ladies are feeling down. I think the problem with swaying is it hits you twice as hard when it doesn't work. It's such a hard placeto be. So glad we have here to vent and don't have to keep our GD feelings bottled up.

Have been pinning like mad on pintrest so much so think I broke it lol.
