It is supposedly pretty accurate I think? But I think you have to have a scan about 6 wks to confirm the side it is growing on. it's that Ramzi's theory... there are some links about it on here somewhere.

I should get a scan sometime between 6-8 weeks. I usually do, anyway with my history of miscarriage just so they can find the heartbeat and make sure everything's going well. I go this Thurs (5 weeks) to re-check my betas...I'm nervous about them doubling properly but trying not to worry too much!

I didn't get my ticker taken off, so don't feel bad, but I lost the baby at 8w3d. Baby stopped growing around 7w when I started bleeding, and there was no heartbeat. Hopefully I will be back here in a couple more months but for now, we are trusting the Lord's timing!

Thankyou ladies My last baby bump pic looks kinda scary doesn't it lol!!! I have the midwife today at about 2 pm, currently 9.30 am here atm uk, so I'll get her to measure up just to make sure that little one has grown some. plus I was awoken with a pain last night!! I say 'A' pain, only the one lol, I got rather excited for a while and then fell back to sleep, oh well I've still got 2 weeks anyway so I shouldn't start getting carried away yet

Well I'm back from the midwifes, it was her and a trainee, the trainee measured me at 38, excellant, but then the midwife said 36 so I'm back in next week to see how things are going I may need to try and give this one a little encouragement to leave a bit sooner, hmmm, nothing really works imo apart from a sweep or two, I may even need to take the kids up on their offer of a bit of trampolining with them lol!!
