Where does this stuff sit on on the girl sway?
I mean the proper butter flavoured popcorn you get at the cinema's. No idea on what the calorie content is, but im sure the sodium is dead high.
Its DH's bday tomorrow and we are going to the movies, and popcorn is one of my ultimate weaknesses.
I dont normally eat until 12pm when i have my lunch, movie is at 1pm, so if i have a small portion instead of having something for lunch would that be ok?
I'm in the 2ww so dont want to ruin my chances.

I wouldn't have popcorn from the movies, that stuff is sooooo high in fat and sodium, but you could make your own and bring it along. I eat air poppped popcorn almost everyday, I actually buy it from trader joes, it's in a purple bag called reduced guilt. It is 110 calories for 2 1/2 cups. I think it has somthing lke 1.5 g fat, 3g protein, fiber 3g, very little sodium, maybe 60 g? Have fun!

The butter in that popcorn is nothing but crap anyways, horrible stuff. My DH used to love the movie popcorn and would ask for extra butter between 4 layers... after having kids and only going to the movies 3x's in the last 4 years he hates the butter taste. We eat a normal meal before we went last time and ordered nothing (saved $20). When we do eat popcorn we make it in or popper and add nothing to it. But sometimes we make a sugar popcorn as a special treat for the boys, cals are still low because it's a little sugar and the boys need those cals right now.

2 other popcorn options - in the US, Newman's Own brand sells "Pop's Corn" it is microwave bags and they have a variety that has NO oil and No salt. It is basically air popped in pre made microwave bags. Also, you can actually pop your own at a fraction of the price. I buy the regular popping corn in the jar - put 1/4 cup in a paper lunch bag, fold the end over a couple times and put it in the microwave. It pops great! After, add unsalted butter and some seasonings if your fat count for the day can take it!

air popped popcorn - great for pink sway (altho I think it's forbidden on IG and FGDs for having wrong minerals or something?? I think it's an ideal snack for pink tho.
Cals from fat aren't what matter so much in the 2WW - keeping blood sugar down matters in the 2WW. Fat matters all the time but if you take it into account in your day's total, you can have a splurge now and then with no worries.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
