Thanks ladies, can't come soon enough. I have 2 referals for a 12 week scan and was thinking of being naughty and doing both. One was from the hospital (which I have not used this one) and the other from my dr (I have used this one for march 16.)

Do you think medicare would find out if I used both and would they end up charging me? I get bulk billed... LOL I would love to try and go this week only be 11 weeks but oh well heheheh

I did the same thing with my youngest daughter 5...but I had 3 hehehe. Used them all....I am naughty. Medicare never noticed!

I think I'd have been way more anxious to get a scan at 11 weeks if I hadn't seen the baby alive and well at 8 weeks. My m/c was a missed one - although I had the actual m/c at 11 weeks, the baby died much earlier. Seeing the baby at 8 weeks made me much less anxious.

Oh, and I didn't find the heartbeat until 9 weeks 4 days. Give it time .

mine was a missed MC too, baby died at 11 weeks (well, measured 11 weeks) but I didn;t know until my scan at 12+4

TTC5, I don't think Medicare would notice. After all, some women do end up requiring many ultrasounds, or ultrasounds close together. The fact that a doctor has requested each one should be enough for them. All the very best for your scan.

Hcg numbers aren't good...yesterday's level was only 58 and last Thursday was 24.3...should have been 300 something yesterday. Having an ultrasound Monday to see what's wrong. I probably won't be on here this weekend. Need to focus on my family and try to get my mind focused where it should be. good luck everyone...
