Thanks Atomic Sagebrush for the reply, yes I would be interested in reading about the diet and the effects or not of cal/mag. No I didn't follow the french or IG diet (I hadn't heard of either till I was already preg with DS3 suffering with GD, then I beat myself up for not doing it strict enough) I had read that an increase in calcium and dairy helped so when I was TTC I ate more dairy and drank loads of milk (which I hated) I also took cal and mag supps, but again not sure if to the recommended amount. I seriously didn't know there was so much help out there on line, then I feel guilty for regreating not trying harder as my number three son is my life and so cute, but still I would dearly have loved a girl and hope to be blessed one day? I don't know much about the French Diet but have read the IG so would be interested to see the similarities and differences. thank you. What about irons, do they really make a difference?

Thanks AS - as always, very reassuring!

Clarabell - welcome! I'm new here on the forum myself, and have found all the info Atomic has provided so amazing, and the people here so very welcoming. I hope you find the right combination of things to assist you in getting your girl.

I totally get where you are coming from about your feelings of longing for a DD and the guilt accompanied with that longing.

I wish you the best of luck in your journey!

What do you drink during those hours till lunch? I get so bored with water.
Caffeine-free Diet Coke. I have a close friend who has been known to guzzle half a dozen diet sodas a day and she has two daughters, no sons, so I've seen this at work. (I also have a friend who, along with her DH, is a vegetarian and once again, two daughters, no sons.) So I'm a believer in diet sodas and no meat as being good tools in a pink sway.

I was also drinking peppermint tea with Equal until I started taking Saw Palmetto (Atomic thinks they might somewhat cancel each other.) I do some Crystal Light, too ... especially on the days when my sodium levels are creeping up to 1000 (40 mg in a Coke isn't too bad, but when you're drinking three or four or five, it adds up to your total totals).

In the evenings, with dinner, if I'm not in the 2ww, I also sometimes treat myself to vodka or white wine (I'm enjoying the latter right now, so forgive any typos! ).

Weird I know I answered this question but now it's gone?? never be afraid to give a post a bump or even message me to tell me to answer it...I have 4 kids and answer dozens of Q's some days so if I get interrupted before I post my reply, sometimes I think I answered a q that then I never saved to the forum.

The IG diet is actually based on the French Gender Diet - they both have a heavy emphasis on calcium and magnesium as these magic bullets for pink. You can read the case against cal-mag and swaying here:http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...roversial.html (3 part essay, read all three, links to the second two are in the first one. The discussion afterwards is also interesting.) We have the full FGD in the Dream Members section (along with IGD) and also my LE Diet (which I think I sent you the simple version of?? I better doublecheck that.)

I do not think ions make any difference at all because X and Y sperm do not have different electrical charges http://genderdreaming.com/forum/scie...m-y-sperm.html and so they simply cannot be attracted or repelled by any "ions".

This is a great example of how breakfast is not magic! It's low blood sugar that matters, breakfast is just one way to keep your blood sugar down that many people find it easier to stick to.

No breakfast at all is best. Some people have some coffee or tea or diet soda, which is fine. It's best to avoid anything that has carbs and protein in it, like yogurt.

I read in many girl sways that they drank some coffee with sweetener for breakfast only. Would a latte be okay if we count the milk within the allowance of the day? I don't like plain coffee. I'm more the latte type.
And what about chai latte? I love chai tea!! Is it pink or not?
