Next time you need a new eftpos card, get Visa Depit, its like eftpos but you can buy stuff online like with a credit card, its really handy and you use your own money.

So, Atomic, how many hours should you go in-between meals. I'm a snacker, I eat every 2-3 hours something small. I have done so for years, now I'm trying to stretch the time in-between meals but its hard, I get really hungry after 3 hours.
Also, would be aspartame, zyrtex and diet enough? I do not want to take any blood thinners. I cannot take aspirin, I get very bad bruising and I do get broken blood vessels everywhere including my eyes and face and takes ages to heal.
Hi Vada. There is no hard and fast rule for how long to go between meals, you're just trying to maximize the number of hours in the day where your blood sugar is on the lower side rather than keeping it constantly elevated by eating all the time. It's a balancing act tho because at the same time, you shouldn't be miserable either. Many people find it easier to just start off not eating breakfast rather than trying to extend hours between meals because oftentimes once you start eating, you trigger a hunger cycle that makes it really hard to postpone/skip later meals. All you can do is what you can do, without making yourself too miserable!!

I def. think aspartame, Zyrtec, and diet are enough. Anyone who bruises easily should not include any of the blood thinners for swaying.

Thanks heaps. I do get low blood sugars fast and get dizzy which is why I usually snack all day instead off 3 bigger meals. I do believe this is why I get now very hungry as my body is used to constantly getting a snack. But if I'm off I could manage to skip breakfast, maybe eat at 11am, 3pm and small dinner at 7-7pm, would that work?
When I do work, I get up at 5am. I used to eat porridge or cereal at 530am, then have a yoghurt and toast at work at 9am, then lunch at 1pm, a snack at 5pm, come home at 8pm. On work day, I will have to eat 9am as I cannot walk around all morning without food, but I could skip dinner those days, like nothing anymore once I get home, would that also work somehow?
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

Skipping dinner also works if you can sleep afterwards!

First and foremost you must do what you need to do to get thru the day without being miserable. If you have to eat to work, then EAT!! Just by virtue of giving up snacking, you'll still be working to lower your BS levels.
