Thank you Auroara and GlitterIt feels great to hear that others enjoy the things you make. I may just open up my own Etsy shop after this baby is 6 months old or so
I do love creating, it's just lack of time that prevents me from sewing all the time

ELP- I think I'm next in line but Lobella is only 7 days behind me so either of us could go any day!! I'm just 9 days away from my due date!!! Yippee!! I tend to carry babies to my due date and a bit beyond so it could still be another 2 weeks. I don't feel that bad right now so I really don't mind that much.
I've done a few fun things that I've never done with my other pregnancies...I made a belly cast with my hubby which turned out greatI also had a Blessingway 2 days ago
It was so amazing! 12 of my closest friends all gathered around me to celebrate my pregnancy and upcoming birth. They each pick a bead which I put on an anklet and wear during my birth. All of their good thoughts and blessings are then with me through my birth. They say also say a few words to me about their wishes for my birth. And then we all light our candles and tie a piece of yarn from one wrist to the next to symbolize the joining of all the women in the room. When I go into labour I'll let everyone know and they then light the candle, send a blessing my way and wait for the big news! After baby is safely Earthside they then cut the bracelet off their wrist. I'm so excited to tell them all to light their candles!! Squeeee! I also had a gorgeous henna design put on my belly
I'll post pics once I get them from my friend

Z-it might be the back laying causing that as it does the same thing to me this time. My uterus is a bit more irritable this time than any other pregnancy. xo
Dannikans- Gorgeous belly!! You look great!

Thanks, GG. Knowing you got your girl right after your m/c gave me a lot of hope through those hard times. I got to tell my whole family this weekend. Some were thrilled, others were not so thrilled (one of my brothers only has 1 kid and I know thinks I already have too many kids). I think I'm going to have the perfect family for me - I grew up with 3 big brothers and so will my little girl

Morning Ladies...............Good to hear everyone is still chugging along (so to speak)!!
I have another non stress test today and a Dr. appt. I now have the NST 2 times a week....which is fine except the drive in gas is a killer. It is a 45 min drive to the hospital...and with the gas prices our Yukon is eating it up! I had planned on using our little Honda (great on gas) but turns out it need a new battery..which we can't afford at the moment. I swear if it isn't one thing it is another. On a up note the pills the Dr put me on for the blood sugars are working but I am still losing weight and spilling Ketones....ugh!! So I will have a long list of questions and concerns today!
Also I started a poll for baby Names in another thread.......please visit it and tell me what you all think....all input is welcome.....as I am having a really hard time picking out a name from the 3 we have chosen!!"All because 2 people fell in love"

Thanks Z--yes I'm doing great. Last night was a great night cause Eva slept through the night besides nursing every few hours, but she would then fall back asleep right away and I didn't need to rock her for what feels like hours when you are sleep deprived.
Does anyone else cosleep with their baby? I did so with all my kids up until I stopped nursing which is usually around 18 months LOL! But this time around I am nervous since docs are always warning against it. I finally caved in and have been co sleeping with eva for the past two nights. It's the only way she will sleep soundly and I enjoy every minute of it.
I just get rid of pillows, keep my head at her body level and have DH sleep all the way on his side of the bed LOL--he's not a mover so he wakes up in the same position. Just wanted to see if anyone else plans on co sleeping??3 handsomes!

Oh yeah just wanted to vent--Dh's whole family came to see the baby and I couldn't believe his aunt suggested I should get my tubes tied and later joked to Dh I should keep my legs closed! I went to the other room to BF and I just broke down crying from embarrassment and hormones. I'm over it now but I couldn't believe she would be so nosey and she hardly knows me, I've met her twice!

GG - OMG I'm so sorry you had to hear that crap
4 kids is NOT a lot of kids! 15, yes...4, no. You have a wonderful family and you should be proud.
About the co-sleeping...I've co-slept with every one of my children and plan on doing so with this one tooWhen done safely it LOWERS the risk of SIDS. Plus, mama gets WAY more sleep and it allows for bonding, easier breastfeeding and a closeness that you can't get with baby in a different bed. I know it's not for everyone, but 90% of the world co-sleeps(either the same bed or the same room). It's just in the more developed nations that we seem to think that being separated from our young children is a better/safer option. It's just not true. So I say, do what you feel is best for you and your family

Oh yeah...and we sidecar the crib onto our bed. It makes it easier to co-sleep. The crib has one side removed and it's placed up against our bed with crib mattress level to our bed. It's attached so it stays in place. You can then place baby back into his little area and you have lots of room in the bed. We have this arrangement and our 2yo is in the sidecarred crib, hubby beside him, me and then new baby will be beside me with guard rail up. Ha! 4 of us all snuggled in there
I treasure having my kiddos close at night
Soon they'll be 10 and won't want snuggle in my armpit anymore
LOL

We do the same thing as DM. We have a co-sleeper which is basically a playpen with one side removed that straps straight onto the side of the bed. We even kept our twins in there for the first 6 months until they got too big to share it.
