Well I'm really going cuckoo. I am nauseated and wondering if my desire to be pg is somehow causing these symptoms. I took a frer and it was neg. (9dpo). I really regret taking it because now all I want to do is find evidence of people who got bfn at 9 dpo, but bfp later. Why did I test?!? I really need to distract myself!!
Going to go look for the Hunger Games book.

Aurora, Happy Birthday!

I can totally relate to feeling down on your birthday. As a kid, my mom always made me feel so special on my BD, and now, my DH just doesn't care. I think some men (or some people who just grow up differently) think of adult birthdays as no big deal! I can remember crying one year because DH wouldn't do anything for me even tho I had requested a certain cake and to go out to dinner. I must have got to him because the next year, I came home and he and my boys had decorated the whole dining room with pink balloons and Princess birthday decorations. They even had a big princess hat for me and had bought me a very expensive handbag as a gift. They remarked that since I was the only girl in the house, I was the "Princess." It just goes to show, even the most indifferent husband can surprise you one day.
Since then, I've still been planning my own birthdays, but I realize it's just not in my DH's personality to plan things for me. I *think* I've finally accepted it
When your boys get older, you can plant ideas in their heads too... it never hurts to get them trained to take care of mama on her BD!

So ladies with shorter cycles... Do you ovulate earlier? I am usually around 30 days but this last one ( on vitex etc) it was only 26... If you read an opk pkg they say to test earlier like day 8 or 9 with that short a cycle... I guess I have the problem with irregular cycles now! I tested negative today and yesterday opk ( today is cd 14)
I guess I will just keep trying, my worry is I ovulated early and missed the boat!! I remember have twinges about cd9ish but pretty much ignored it!!
Not thinking to do this diet another month as my friend accidentally got knocked up and is sooo sick! I just don't want to feel that way again and she is bringing it all back to me which is scaring me much to her dismay, she wants company!!!
Wow! That was long winded!! Thx for any advice!!

Hi coocoo,
I have always had 25-day cycles (+ or minus) and I usually ovulate on CD 12. It's great the vitex has changed your cycles; Atomic says that shows its doing something that might sway. Did you have any attempts on or before cd 12-13? If not, don't despair, this time it could have made your cycle longer...
I can totally relate about the m/s. I had it so bad every time- in and out of hospital, just feeling horrible even when I could eat. I swear food just tastes yucky when I am pregnant! I am NOT looking forward to that. I plan on making some sort of big calendar so I can cross off the weeks and days as I go. Still, I'm not worrying too much, I will just be so grateful to be PG at my age (40!)
Good luck this month!
