I took it 3 cycles AF to AF and then the 4th AF to O. The rest I don't know. From my dates O was late and we DTD alot around the time of O... Or what i though would of been O.

How does the stopping Vitex thing work? Do you stop before O? And the where does the soy come in?
I have been taking Vitex for 2.5 months now. I started with 240 (according to directions on the bottle). I upped it to a different brand of 1000 about a month ago. Last month I couldn't pinpoint O using OPKs, so I don't know I'd I even O'd.
So how does the stop/soy thing work?

While swaying, most people take vitex AF-O (or the day before O to make sure it does not delay O). You can't take V if you might be pg.
BEFORE swaying, some people choose to take Vitex for a full month or more, all cycle long (while using barrier birth control), before switching to the AF-O pattern.
Vitex cannot be taken with soy or Clomid, so for some people who want to use soy or Clomid, they sometimes choose to take V for a full month or more all month long, stopping the Vitex at CD 1, then starting soy or Clomid on CD 3-5.
Unlike stopping vitamins suddenly, it's safe to stop vitex suddenly right at O because your body doesn't actually USE vitex to perform any critical functions, and it mimics the natural menstrual cycle that way.
Did you get AF? If you got AF, then the odds are excellent that you ovulated.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I notice my cycles are becoming or have become irregular since I learned I had a cyst which is now gone and AF just ended yesterday which is also when my vitex got delivered would it be a good idea to take it now or wait for my next AF?
..well wait we are going to attempt this month though so take it the day before I'm supposed to O or just start now?

Since the cyst is resolved, I would go ahead and take the vitex. Vitex may actually help prevent cysts by lowering estrogen.

I took Vitex with DS #2 but it was to get my cycles back and not to sway. I didn't even know about swaying then. I am taking it again now for the same reason but glad it may sway pink!
