    pH testing Q

    Hi

Just want to know how you go about this. I have always been told my massage therapists that I am very acidic but I have never checked this out for myself and was wondering how to go about it

Should I buy one of vaginal test kits (eg Vagisil) or would the test paper work just as well ?

What did you all use ?

Also do I just need to test around Ovulation.

I used pH strips, wide range.
Around ovulation your pH gets a bit higher, but you only need to test round O because you're fertile then.

Acid/Alkaline Theory of Disease Is Nonsense You may want to read the previous essay before pinning too much on what a masseuse claimed about your body's acidity or alkalinity. If your body ever gets out of a very tightly controlled alkaline pH, you die. No one is acidic.

For testing vaginal pH, it's best to use the test paper or sticks (and also cheaper!) For swaying purposes, you only need to test around ovulation when you're making EWCM - and please don't put TOO much stock into those numbers, they don't really indicate what is happening in your Fallopian tubes and uterus.

    Thanks ladies.

I think I will test to satisfy my own curiosity and take it from there.
