Oh Ladies!! I found a little website (it's dodgy, but seems to be well-meaning.. haha) that lists low sodium foods.. I was particularly interested in the sweet biscuits as I think I'll want, nay, need to add some empty cals to my plan and I wanted to maybe add one biscuit to my dinner, or lunch or something, but I knew that some sweet bickies are quite high in salt (surprise!!) ... anyway, I'll not turn this into an essay, but here's the link:

    Low sodim Biscuits and cakes

They point out that anything listed on the site as "low sodium" has an average of 120mg or less per 100g. That's reasonable, considering a biscuit will be far less than 100g...

.. on my travels across the google sea I have also managed to locate a VERY low sodium stock..

    Buy | The Stock Merchant

I also think these veggie burgers are a fantastic addition to the menu, with a leafy salad and some low fat yogurt?

    Hey Ladies!!!
    May I join you all?
I'm Abby from W.A, Mummy of two adorable boys 3 years and 18 months.
We wont be TTC this year however next year we will be. I have just come on here to sort all this swaying out in my head LOL. I rather stress about it now than later hahaha.
Does anyone have the thread to what we CAN eat? I am hoping to go on the LE diet.
Another q ... ( agh the name has gone out of my head) it's a drink the americans have. I know ( well im pretty sure) we don't have it over here. So what can we have instead?
and do we have to use lube ? My partner and I really don't need it but if it helps our sway I am up for it.

Anyways girls I looks forward to talking to you all =D

    Hi Everyone,

Another Aussie mum (Melbourne) to 3 DS (7yrs, almost 4 and our surprise package just turned 1). DH and I are 32. Planning on TTC NO 4 late this year / early next year. Unsure as to whether we will sway or go HT (which would be a one off). Reading on here I want to try NOW but we are moving house soon and too many birthdays already feb - apr.

A couple of quick things re swaying if anyone could please help.

    - With a BMI of 20-21 (unsure of my exact height) would I still need to loose more weight?
I would have to be super strict and would prob only loose 2-3kg max! I actually weigh less than I did when I got married pre-kids and at gym etc.

    - How long prior to TTC do you need to do sway plan for?
From what I know I'd say my diet is naturally more girl now (def boy before) but dont know how long I could be strict and keep it up for.

I fall pregnant VERY easy but have also had 3 x MC (preg #1,#2 & #5).

MC #3 was conceived on day 26 of my 31 day cycle (which is very regular) as were using timing as contraceptive at the time so not sure if Im one of those that ovulates more than once and hence the MC?

I have to read more on timing of DTD....

I'm scared to go HT and not be successful and then worry about all that wasted $$$ and what could have been and then Id sway anyway and who knows.......

This will be our last pregnancy

    Any thoughts or comments??

    Good luck to everyone xx

    Willtherebe4,
I think they say its best to be on the diet about 3 months or at least 6 weeks before attempt. I don't think it matters if
you don't lose a lot of weight.
You said you have a lot of birthdays Feb to Apr there are a lot more boys born in the warmer months of the year you could try planning 4 to be born in winter, that's what Im going to try. Im from Tas and Ive noticed mostly boys born in summer and girls in winter.

That's what Ill be trying to do when we finally start TTC. Although I am aiming for late autumn early winter.
So we will be starting TTC next august so it gives us a good amount of time. I want it far enough from christmas since my first sons birthday is the 29th of Dec and my partners birthday is the 26th of Dec.

I would think 6 weeks of your diet before your attempt would suffice!
I thought an expert posted on this site "at least 6 weeks before attempt" or they said an expert told them, I can't remember.
And I agree with the boy girl temp thing. It goes along with Shettles method.
DS#1 was conceived in a freezing cold basement, in the dead of Winter, and he was born in the hottest month in the year- July! In DH family most boys are born in Summer and girls in Winter and early Spring.
