Found this info 5... There have been one or two cases reported where very large placental lakes were thought to be associated with poor placental function, but it is now known that almost all placentas have one or more lakes by the third trimester, and they don't seem to affect your baby in any way.
Research has found that placental lakes are present in about two per cent of pregnancies and are more common in thicker placentas. There appears to be no association with placental abruption (bleeding from the placenta during pregnancy), high blood pressure or pre-eclampsia, premature labour, small babies or stillbirths.
Because it would seem placental lakes are so common and have no significance, most sonographers do not report them, or even mention them to women.

I'm so using the PreSeed next time. Check this out http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ed-gender.html
It took me over a year to conceive this girl with all the swaying stuff, except the PreSeed.
My DD1 was an oops, and DD2 1st attempt success so I was a bit bummed why it was taking me so long. Probably "boy life style" decreased my fertilitym/c 2001

Pop, I don't think it would hurt to use preseed--I got pregnant the first month I used it, after 2 months of BFNs with real eggwhites. I had a lot of EWCM too. BUT, as Bec said, maybe the less stuff you put in you body the better.
Cinss, has AF officially started? Maybe you are still in....?
Bec, I hope you get some answers from the tests.2004

Hey ladies!
LBAM, welcome back! I know what you were feeling....I tried to put it out of my mind for a while but the baby fever just wouldn't go away, so now I am determined to have one someday, somehow. Glad you are back!
Hobb, LOL yea I didn't really need to think about that in the midst of conducting business. He said he was sorry and also that he was too grossed out by the "collection room" to get comfy and have any fun with porn. Said he just did his thing and bolted. Incidentally, the urologist sent him to the local fertility clinic, and they are doing the huge sperm workup. He said there were a lot of unhappy and weary couples there. UGH so don't want to have to do that now! When is your scan again? I am so excited for you and TTC5, you are close to u/s time!
Flava, you are always welcome here.....I am apparently forever on this site and will be here myself!
POP, I am so sorry, hun.....I am with you and the others on not caring about gender anymore (well, you guys know I don't for sure!)......swaying is great if you can get pregnant fairly soon, but after a handful of months, you start to wonder whether or not your swaying is affecting your ability to get pg at all. And you know, you can still have a boy! There is absolutely no guarantee that if you don't sway, you'll automatically get a girl again. I think you are doing well with diet, and I would try a month or two of just a multivitamin and a fish oil. That's pretty much all I take now. I do take a calcium/D3 pill also. I have been trying to cut out gluten also (wheat protein) and I don't eat many carbs anymore anyway, so I'm losing weight and actually feel really good. That book that Hobbs recommended is really great! Let's keep our chins up that we'll get that sweet healthy baby soon, eh?
And Cinss, same for you. We'll get there. I'm so sorry about your bfn and how long this is taking. You'll get there too. But I do agree with the other ladies, if you are late and if you have gotten late bfps before, then I'm not thinking you are out just yet. You guys will get pg soon, everyone here does sooner or later!
Soni, I hope everything is ok! You are SO early, they cannot see things so early sometimes. When I had the 8 week u/s, the tech said sometimes they can't see anything at that point, so I would think 5-6 weeks is in the gray area where an u/s may not pick up a fetal pole, etc, yet. But if the worst is happening, just know that you will go on and have one. Lots of mamas who had awful m/c are having their desired genders now, it's kind of a lucky streak time for that. Hope you are ok! xoxo
Bec, you have one stubborn AF! I hope you are doing ok.
TTC5, oh gosh, that is scary, but your doctors will surely keep good tabs on you. Try not to google too much, you will find horror stories that you don't need to read. OBs deal with placental issues all the time, so this is not their first rodeo, and even if you need an early c/section, it will be what is best for you and baby. Excited for your scan coming up! xoxo
