Girlmom I am sorry it is so rough for you. Just remember that every day you hang in there and stick in the bed is a day he is getting bigger. You can look up footprints online, see footprints from preemies and term babies. My cousin said looking at how tiny the preemie feet were really helped her to stay in bed and eat what she needed go when she was on bed rest.
Can you get some books to read with your girls in bed? Or watch special videos with them? Play a board game? Something to feel like you're doing a great job mothering them! You are awesome for helping your LO grow healthy and strong.
As for DH, does he have a cell phone? Or can you get him to pick up a prepaid one he can always have with him under the circumstances?
Are you having nurse check-ins via phone or any monitoring? My cousin's doctor ordered this for her, too, and she found it very comforting to know the nurse was monitoring everything and she (my cousin) could call anytime she was concerned. I think the device she used was called a HUAM but I don't remember what it stands for... It monitored for contractions though, so she and her nurse KNEW when she needed to get to the hospital ASAP. She used it at set times every day.

girlmom-I also got my preemie in a hospital with no nicu because there was no time to go anywhere else. But they all have incubators and they took my baby next day up to a very good hospital and there she even needed to have breathing tube to help her.
I think if she would needed tubes in at birth they would have take her right away.
So don't worry if you don't make it to that hospital they will take the baby for sure.
But lets hope he will not need any of this.

girlmom: I agree with Skrimpy, everyday counts. You have a ton of good reasons that you just want to get this all over with, but he will be coming soon. How often are they monitoring you? I thought you were still in the hospital. So, you are back at home on bedrest. You are a wonderful mother, a lot of women would have geiven up weeks ago. I am sure you daughters understand that you bedrest is not permanent. Before long this whole situation will be over and things will start to go back to normal. Big Hugs.
Lola: I make my butter in a blender, it is sweet cream butter. You can use a churn, but you have to leave the milk at room temp+ for it to culture and we don't really like the cultured/sour taste. MMMMM love fresh butter.
TTC5: what a big day, can't wait to see some pics.
I had a ton of HB conx yesterday. I started to pack my bags just incase. I still am no where near ready, but I did take the bags out of the closetAnd put the baby book in one.
Do you ladies have a check list for your hospital bag or do you just wing it?
What do you bring for the baby?
I normally have a list and I need to get it going.thank you GD

i go in once a week and trust me i look forward to my doc apps. just so i can get out of the house. i get shots, meds, i get a cervix check once a week, i get hooked up for nonstress tests to see how baby is taking all these meds. then they put these things around my lower legs which are suppose to keep me from getting blood clots.
now im getting gestational dibetes because i can't move and i just lay around like a big fat slug all day. so now i have to prick my finger 5 times a day and write down everything i eat. i just really hope i won't have to do insulin. i don't think i can stab myself with needles.x5
