MFC: What a relief, good luck with the bed rest....that can be so hard with other children at home.
Tink: I have a friend that was told her baby was 9+ pds and was induced 2 wks early and the baby was barely 6 pds. Is your cervix closed and high? Do they expect you to go early?
Flava: Your pregnancy will be over before you know it. When is your next scan?
TTC5: Did you get paid yet and buy a bunch of blue.
dloui: When is your next appt? Are you finding out gender?
girlmom: any updates?
Not much to report, I think the baby may have dropped. My pelvic bone hurt so bad yesterday, I could barely walk.
Has anyone used Evening Primrose Oil in late pregnancy to soften the cervix? I might try that once I am 39+ wks.thank you GD

WP, my doula had me put an EPO in my hoo-ha at 39 wks on (I am always late). I'd just stick one in at bedtime.

im so glad everything is ok mfc! yes im still pregnant. i did ask my doctor if i could get off bedrest and she said no way. i told her she was wrong and 20 bucks says she will have to induce me at 40 weeks. but im surprisingly still hanging on at 5cm 100% and a bulging bag of water.my mother is flying in soon so i will have some help and she kindly asked me if i wouldn't mind giving birth then so she could be around... umm yea mom cause we all get to pick the exact time and date our child arrives.

MFC so glad all is well, FX for smooth sailing from here on out for you and your little bean.
Bumble congrats!!!
Tink FWIW I had scans thru my pg to check for weight due to the whole history of big babies already... and they were pretty spot on. Really though, in my experience, there's no issues with having a larger baby in terms of delivery, so long as they don't have a big ol' head, LOL! Fat squishes. My 7lb 13oz'er and my 9lb 12oz'er didn't feel any different to me coming out, and if anything I healed faster after the biggest one. DD3 doesn't have much chub though bc in addition to being heavy she's also long so it's all spread out. Your double-chinned little man sounds precious.
WP I didn't take EPO but have heard it is a-ok to take when you're in those last weeks.
Dloui you're strong to wait! I think it has to be one of life's great experiences. I'm too emotionally immature to make it thoughThere was a girl in our old blue crew on IG who waited with her 3rd pg (had 2 DD) and they had a boy, and she said it was AMAZING. FX you get the same experience.
Yay Girlmom!!!
