    girlmom....any news?

Jen: Thank goodness mine aren't there, but this one is painful. I was hoping my midwife would say somethimg like that, too. Oh well, I have tons to do anyway.

Hobber: Are you going with neutral bedding and clothes or waiting until after birth?
    thank you GD

I have a ton of girl clothes saved from DD2, so if by some crazy chance I actually DO get a boy, I will need boy stuff. I have a friend with a baby boy who said she would pass stuff on if I need it. I will take a girl outfit and a boy one to the hospital.... I will leave the tags on the boy outfit, though, because I am pretty sure I won't get to use it. For bedding, we have a co-sleeper and just a bunch of random sheets for it, and the baby will be in our room for a year or two (DD2 is still in there!) so I am not doing any decorating.

Hobber: yes, I always look like all baby, BUT I am not. I have a small frame, so I just look small. I have gained about 20 pds during this pregnancy, but I gained 10 pds while swaying. I am just really blessed with a fast metbolism.....although it has slowed a lot in the past few years. It normally takes me about 6-12 months to get all the baby weight off, last time I never did get it all off. I have the best time being pregnant and not worrying about my wastline...lol.

TTC5: So, your baby just really big or did they change your due date?

girlmom: Yep, we need an update!!!

I am so excited, I ordered a new going home outfit for the baby and it is coming today!!! It is Petit Ami brand and so classic looking, It will be my last addition to the hospital bag. Tomorrow is my OB appt, I will let you guys know if the EPO did any wonders in a week
No he is big, we know my dates from hcg tests early on.
    Fathers Day baby!

I would def go in if your bleeding!!

girlmom: I don't blame you. And 36 wks is great, especially coming as far as you have. GL, I can't wait to see baby pics, I am sure he will be here soon.

I am still 2cm, but a little more thinned out (eye rolling). I figured my cervix would be a little more dilated. My midwife did do the cervix sweep and I was having major contractions, but now they are back to normal. If he is ready he will come, if not, I would like to wash everyones bedding, the car, and clean out the laundry room. I know sounds crazy, but I have to stay busy.

Oh, I almost forgot, yesterday I got my first varicose vein ever and it is in my groin area.....I thought I was going to die!!! It hurt so bad everytime I stood up yesterday. Today it is a little better. My midwife took a look and said I should stay off my feet and elevate them if possible.....hahaha. I will try my best, but sitting drives me crazy. I think this little guy just needs to come and then I don't have to worry about it....lol.
    Keep up with the EPO!

I know what the veins are like I have them inside and out :'(

    Confused

Question ladies, Is 38 Weeks too early for scheduled C-Section?

I know Tink had her baby boy at 37 weeks and he was a healthy big boy!

What ya think? I would love to hear your opinions ladies?

MFC, what does your doctor think? I know I had DD1 at 38 weeks (not C section or induced, she just came early) and she was healthy and 7 lb 11 oz. Both my others were born at 39 weeks on the dot, and were fine as well. I think 37 weeks is considered "fully cooked", so 38 should be fine?
