I am so excited!! I just found Pre-seed! It isnt something that has been available where I live, but its just been brought in to a pharmacy down the road, and I got the very last box!! Whoop whoop!!

Annnnd, I also got some V-8 juice! Have been hunting for it for some time, and a store that said they would order it in for me rang this morning to say that it's arrived! SUCH a good day! Only, its a great pity that its the day before we plan to BD - I guess I will drink all that I can between now and then

Auroara78 - thank you! so helpful - I have been having the occassional piece of good dark chocolate to satisfy my sweet tooth but had no idea it was a good thing LOL!
Will definitely use the pre-seed so Lola - thank you as well So sorry to hear of your struggles, but I so pray that you get your BFP some day soon
    Glad you hang out here!
Bec - on the edge of my seat

And now for the big question - I got quite a bit of ferning on my fertile focus Ovulation microscope this morning (the 12th) at 7am & a second line on my OPK at 11 am. It was nearly the same colour as the test line & box says O will happen24-48 hours once they are the SAME colour.
Was expecting to O on 15th, so first attemp was planned for tomorrow (13th) night, 2nd attempt night of 14th and 3rd and final attempt on night 15th.
Going to test again at 6pm to see what line/fern pattern is doing, but should I start tonight? not ideal as it will mean a 2 day cut off?
Taking some time out from for a bit - want to get back into shape before TTC again

I had my Gestational Diabetes test today and am feeling this way too! I don't remember it doing this to me the other times I have done it. I actually like drinking the drink--like super sweet orange soda!

I am worried about the results, though, because they found sugar in my urine yesterday.

I don't wear tight clothes, but is it pretty easy to see underneath your clothes? And yes, you are so right, all pregnant women should be told about it. My DH said that he felt if most pregnant women get it, that our obs should know more about it and tell us, which I agree with. I know mine opened up again when I gained the swaying weight.....I am SO excited to know about this and start doing it!
Mine is white too Lola. It doesn't show under any of my clothes. When I first started wearing it I had some trouble b/c I still had some extra weight on my belly and I'd get a little "muffin top" effect at the top of the splint. It was rough from a body image perspective, kwim? But it didn't take too long for my tummy to trim way down - I even had to order a smaller splint I can still wear the smaller size now but I can def tell that my belly wants to open that diastasis back up again.

I hurt SOOOOO bad after Honor was born at where the diastasis was biggest and my midwife actually told me then that it was there - she felt it with her fingers and showed me where it was widest and why I was in pain. I found Julie Tupler's info after that. I think most midwives/obstetricians know that the separation happens but don't realize it can usually be healed *without* surgery... so they don't tell moms about it.

I have a love/hate relationship with the splint. I like it because even though it's not a tummy trimmer, it trims up the tummy while "in progress." I also remember to do the Tuplers MUCH better when I'm wearing it. It takes getting used to, and I have to readjust mine in the bathroom a couple of times a day, but that's not too much of an issue.

If you stick with it I think you will be pleased with the results you see!

Bec I had all of the gap at the top and middle (over my belly button) totally closed but still about a finger-width at the bottom, which was frustrating but I was working on it. I think with so many babies that section of the muscle just really needs a lot of work to get toned and healed.

Now I've already got a bit of a gap opening up at my belly button again I've been lifting a lot of boxes without wearing my splint and I really regret that now b/c I think that's why. I've been religious with my splint the past few days and I'm back to doing the Tuplers every time I think about it throughout the day!! I know there are ladies who manage to get it closed even in late pregnancy, so I'm going to keep working to at least minimize the damage from this pregnancy.

I really think those weak muscles are responsible for a lot of the pain I have in pregnancy and I'm keen to avoid that this time around.

I went from a huge gap (at least 4 finger-widths when my midwife checked it) to almost closed, so I'm a believer. Just need to be dedicated to it!!
