Charlie, bet you're glad its the last councilling session today then, fancy her keep telling you to tell everyone its a boy! she should know that people deall with things in their own way and she should respect that!

gosh Maybe- what a pain for you dh and fil being so unhelpful. I agree with someone else who said about arranging a private meeting with the teacher, they are both lovely and will be so supportive and helpful. I'm sure they will be able to reassure you and will have lots of ideas and strategies for how to deal with your ds. Well done for sorting the fb group!

Charlie- you sound super busy, i don't know how you have the energy, these days I'm SO tired and need a nap almost every day. Can't believe you have been surviving without a washer for so long, v annoying. Was the therapist any help at all, any useful tips or ideas you could pass on to us?! Are the antiD's working for you? Your homebirth sounds totally amazing, I just don't think I'd have the courage...did you have gas and air at home? I'm so impressed and in awe of you ladies who do it!

Pinga- you poor thing, you must be exhausted too. I really hope your ds gets better and you are able to have a couple off good night's sleep before the baby arrives. How are you feeling about the birth and announcement? (or have you told people this one is a boy? I can't remember sorry). I've told everyone I can that this is a boy as I want to get it all out the way before the birth.

Has anyone heard from LMW? it's been ages, hope she is OK.

AFM, we have MIL staying for a few days, she is generally quite helpful and we are actually going away for a night on Friday (first time in 2 years) so I'm really looking forward to that. Unfortunately I work on a Friday and usually come back from work totally exhausted with a splitting headache. Might have to let the kids in the class have an easy day and take it a bit easy myself so I'm not totally wiped out!

The therapist used CBT which for me doesnt really work i can see why it would but personally it doesnt help x the anti d hae definitely taken the edge off in the sense I am not screaming at DH or shouting at the kids so much still struggle alot with GD but can handle home life a bit better and am not so angry at them for being all boys DH included. Definitely too busy lol and the next few weeks are crazy with school and preschool stuff at least it will fly by until i pop! As for gas and air I dont use anything - g & a makes me feel sick took 2 puffs with ds1 and gave it back bar the mouth piece - i go a bit animal esque and like to bite on the mouth piece. I tend to just walk in labour up and down and when CTX comes lean on a windowsill and march through it!!! DS3 was probably the most painful as so quick and mentally i thought i had ages till he would come as waiting for my waters to pop and they never did.....oh my the ring of fire with him was well i said F alot!!! DH said i literally shook him out!!

Charlie - no gas and air??? I didn't this time but I love that stuff! As me anything while on g & a and I would tell you all my secrets. I got to quite far dilated this time with just pethdine but only as I knew the epidural was coming. The pain head crowns is the worse pain ever. I could teach a sailer new swear words then! The f word only left my lips once with dave while they broke my waters. After that it was just the mantra 'where's my epidural? Where's my epidural?'

Well that's me handed in my 5000 word project on opinions towards male midwives! thanks for anyone who did that for me, made for interesting results !
So college is almost finished, but for the next couple of days I'm a going to chill!!

How's the pregnant ladies doing? I'm shattered as well, I haven't slept properly in 4days, just can not get comfortable at all and so restless, lily has changed positions and seems to be heading down, I now have the pleasure of hiccups in my foof :| I was having very very mild period pains early hours of this morning as well, so I think this is doing to be a loooooooong 5 weeks.
Have a midwife appointment soon, and then I'm off to see the queen officially open our new maternity unit with my one day to be mil.

I'm not on Facebook but if you guys arrange between yourselves I'll see if I can slot in. It's very unlikely I'll be there as I'm due 22nd of July so I'm hopping she will either be with me and still very young or I'll be super overdue lol
