Last night DH and I were having a discussion about his medication for his sinus cold. He never reads the s/e and I ALWAYS read them. He mentioned that he was having night sweats so I asked if I could read the pamphlet to see what the s/e were. That's when I saw that he was prescribed Prednisone (a corticosteroid). First thing I thought was that it would swaybecause steroids raise testosterone. That would just be Jim Dandy
since this sway attempt is screwed up anyway due to early O'ing.
Please give me some hope...

Steroids are weird in that YES, they do raise testosterone but at the same time they can also be detrimental to sperm. It doesn't matter what your DH's testosterone is if his sperm is yucky - still sways pink. I really can't say what I'd do in that situation, because I can clearly see how it could work in either direction depending on how resistant your husband's body was to the medication and how healthy is sperm is to begin with.
Personally, I was on Prednisone once and then one of my sons was on them and both times it was AWFUL - I'd never take them for a sinus cold, I'd have to be like DYING to ever take those things again. I hope he's feeling better soon!!!!! Questions??

Yeah my DH actually said that he didn't feel well on them...sweating and dizzy so yesterday was his last day. I know you are super busy and I don't know if you have been following my posts but I am actually O'ing EXTREMELY early this cycle. I had AF from Sunday 6/3 until Friday 6/8. I got a very positive OPK today
so we ended up DTD on Saturday (not knowing I was going to O early) and last night. I wonder if I should BD tonight or BD tomorrow...what do you think about the BD schedule AS?

AS We actually ended up skipping Tuesday. I did get a positive OPK on Wednesday so we BD last night. Negative today so I guess I am officially in the TWW!
