My husband is going away for 2 weeks and I am panicking about being this way and being a good mom to my 2 boys
He swears he thinks it's not going to last much longer and he's definately got some sixth sense stuff going on so hoping hes not full of crap and that he's right this is a girl! Fx... But I'm getting excited to have 3 boys... And well, just not being sick!
Oh gosh Coocoo, I just read this. I am SO glad your hubby has that intuition and hopefully you will be done suffering soon!
Don't call yourself a bad mommy because you are sick. It's a fact, you take care of yourself first, or you can't take care of others! Can you call a friend?
That's awesome you are getting excited about the possibility of a 3rd boy! I actually am going that direction too, because I just want a healthy bean after my loss!

I don't quite understand the whole beta thing..care to explain??
I'm super bitchy and hubby isn't talking to me he's pretty pissed I keep saying it's a boy I failed at my sway and I'm miserable because his family are doing all the old wives tale tricks and saying it's a boy and my god sister begged or threatened the man upstairs saying she BETTER have a boy and shes having a girl so now I think I have the boy I'm not even 2 months yet and I'm already starting

Gosh, nobody should threaten God ever!

Now Babyy hon, there is absolutely no way to know what you are having this early. So, it's your first baby ever? HOW EXCITING! Even if it was a boy, wouldn't you want your daughter to have a big brother to protect her?

I wouldn't start on anything, just be happy you are pregnant, and enjoy it! Oh you are going to LOVE feeling baby inside of you, it is such a FUN time, and is my favorite part of being prego.

As far as hcg .. it's the pregnancy hormone, and it's the indicator on whether you have a viable pregnancy or not

    This is from americanpregnancy.org:

Guideline to hCG levels during pregnancy:
hCG levels in weeks from LMP (gestational age)* :

    3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
    4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
    5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
    6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
    7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
    9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
    13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
    17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
    25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
    Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
    Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml

I went to get my blood drawn to gage where my hcg is sitting and if it's doubling normally every 48 hours. This was especially important to me after my loss.
So the way it works is...
My first level was 55 so 48 hours later it should be 110..and my next one was 100
depends on the hour you get your betas drawn..you should try to shoot for the same time.

So my beta should have looked like this
    Mon: 55:

    Wed:100

    Friday 200

    Sunday 400

    Tues 800

    Thurs 1600

    And so on....

I guess pregnancy brain strikes again damnit... so it should have been 1600 Thur not 800.

I took the beta today because I didn't make it in Thursday.

I'm very happy that I am pregnant but very unhappy that everyone is testing on me as well as testing my patience. I already felt like oh no I failed at my sway and I wanted my boy last. I feel so horribly selfish but everyone is rubbing it in its a boy! Haha another boy in this family! It drives a persons nuts and on top of everything my own mothers reaction broke my heart. Not a smile, not a hug, no congratulations..just str8 judgement and criticism written all over that face of hers, I cried myself to sleep for days now (sorry baby I know my tears are bothering u already)
I have been going nuts checking things such as no morning sickness means it's a boy or any little thing I can match to the fact that I'm having a boy when I don't even know! Maybe I'm just far too stressed because of my mother and then hubbies mother is talking too much. I told her I will not tell her anything because she's trying to tell too many people and it's still early. Oh gosh and his brother isn't happy because he wants to be the 1st to have a baby in the house since he's the oldest. He's so evil and hurtful about this pregnancy. I feel like everyone that should be the most supportive just wants to see us fail I'm never this emotional I mean am I supposed to even be this e,optional so early on!?

I agree, they are SO wrong to be on you about gender. They have no right, and I know how you feel!
I am not telling anyone else until I am 12 weeks...or 15.. my hubby says we will do 15 this time!
Because I don't want to hear "It's a Boy, I just know it!" Even my BFF ain't going there this time!

    Tell them to BACK OFF!

I am sorry you are crying yourself to sleep, that makes me so sad just thinking about it.

As far as the morning sickness what I call OWT that girls make you sicker... I was SICK all 9 months with my sons, no joke. So PLEASE don't go off the "Oh no morning sickness means boy, I'm doomed!"
And yes I've heard you can be emotional at the drop of a hat so don't worry!
Your hormones are going absolutely crazy right now! You will get MANY mood swings.

That happened to me a lot in this pregnancy early on (without the progesterone) - do you think it could be a coincidence?

If not, I think you better call the doctor's office just to be sure.

Well according to Pregnancy and Dizziness : American Pregnancy Association

They say it's normal unless accompanied by cramping and bleeding.

It's just a new pregnancy symptom I guess.
I think I need a nap. But if it persists I will call the on-call doc.

THANK YOU for your fast reply BTW. I feel better knowing that yours was frequent..so since it's only happened once so far maybe I'm okay..hmm. Oh the waiting game! LOL

Can you believe you are due in like 2 months.. OMG, it's So exciting Atomic!
Do you usually go early at all?
