With DS1 and DS2 I didn't really put any extra weight on but I piled it on with DS3 and was mortified! I enrolled on Lighterlife to shift the weight as I'm not a patient person and need results quickly! I did have to what until DS3 was 3 months old though to start the diet which felt like an eternity but I did WW for a few weeks in the interim.
All together I lost 4 stone and got back to my pre-kids weight - I was soooo pleased and felt better about myself than I had for years.
But I have eaten what I liked in this pg so once again I have piled the weight on!! I haven't weighed myself yet but I'm sure I will be looking at least 2 stone! I am waiting for my milk to dry up and then I will weigh myself.
There is a website called Avidlite and they sell loads of weight loss products and the good thing is you don't have to commit to a programme (you do with Lighterlife). So i have chosen the milkshakes and bars as meal replacements which is what i did with Lighterlife - basically its a very low cal diet and your body goes into Ketosis after about a week and then you burn fat very quickly. it took me approx 14 weeks to lose over 3 stone on Lighterlife so hoping i will be back to my normal weight quite quickly. I will eat a small meal in the evening - protein based so eggs for me but i can only use natural products, so an omelette with two eggs is normally what I go for with spinach and peppers.
I am very miserable and grumpy when I am over weight so i need quick results again - i really do need to be 'me' again asap - emotionally and physically - does that make sense?!? I know it will help me with my GD.
BUT saying that I am eating well at the mo, and will make the most of it this week-end - I ate all the boys celebrations last night!!!
i can send you the link if you are interested, just let me know.
How are the girls today? xx

I suppose because I know 1000% that we will not be having any more children the reality of never having a daughter is slowly (very slowly) hitting home. I want to be happy and content and I know some days I will be and I know some days I won't be and I will feel like my world has ended some days but I am determined to make the most of the good days and enjoy my boys and try my hardest to be strong through the bad days......
I said to my DH that I have to find something in life for me now.....he has a lifetime of 4 boys and boy stuff and I need to find something that makes me happy - not that my boys don't make me happy but you know what I mean! I will be 40 when DS4 starts school so I can't be wasting my life thinking about what if as I don't have the time to do that!!
I hope we find some kind of peace in the future......xxx

Babymad, i bet you are so relieved to be bonding so well.... happy days. I have heard quite a few ladies say that once their children are over the 'little' stage, that gd bothers them so much less anyway and that they don't really think about it. I think there is so much pressure on us while we are in the fertile stages of our life to produce one of each, that once we are done baby making, the pressure goes away and that really helps the gd to ease off. Sounds like you have a great frame of mind.
Oh and yes i have a very small bump. I never get large during pregnancy which i am lucky with i guess. i will try and take a picture of my non existent bumpage soon!
Dying to see a pic of pingas baby. is it only on fb? CONGRATS PINGA!!!!!

Babymad lighter life is hard core! I respect anyone that can do that diet! My dad and sister both did it a few years back, dad lost 10stone on it. It's a tough old diet! I hated the ketosis makes some people's breath really stink lmao!
So glad to hear you are bonding well with your little man
and what a lovely birth you had!
Oh has Pinga had baby?? Congratulations if you have

Hi, yeah Babymad please do send the link. Is it expensive? I barely eat a proper meal these days unless Dh is cooking. I cook for everyone else and by the time they have all eaten the girls are due fed, so I've lived on fruit and fibre, crisps and biscuits for wks. With the twins I only gained 20lbs, not bad for me, usually at least 30lbs with the boys. Think it was because they took alot from me to thrive. But since they have been born, my mum comes every other day with a wee cake or biscuit for a cuppa, all the visitors brought cakes, me choc's etc... and I've gained another 10lbs, through that and eating like I'm still pg with twins! so disgusted with myself and feel awful
Have a wedding reception beg sept, hope to be more myself by then. I lost almost 2 and a half stone march-aug last yr on WW then the girl diet and felt good. I'm crap to start with on diets till the discipline kicks in. x

Many congrats Pinga, hope you are both doing well xx
I have PM'd you the links Inglewood - let me know how you get on. I have a wedding in 6 weeks so got to get sorted for then, can't go as a biffa and have everyone staring!! Try and prepare yourself some healthy snacks, I cut melon and strawberries up and have them in the fridge so i can snack on them when I feel I need sugar! I have eaten loads this week- end and the thought of starting my diet tomorrow mortifies me but its got to be done!
Hope everyone has had a good week-end. Cant believe my little man is a week old already! xx
