It doesn't matter how it sways, it's not safe to use when TTC. Dextrothromorphan (active ingredient) is a Class C drug and should not be used prior to pregnancy. It doesn't work as a cough suppressant anyway. The reason it's helping your cough is because the
doxylamine succinate is a sedative and helping you sleep.
The acetominophen and doxylamine succinate in it will sway pink but the dextro is a dealbreaker. You'd be better off taking just the acetominophen and then using Benadryl or something similar to help you sleep.
Also, please be very careful with Nyquil Cold and Flu because it contains acetominophen and you can accidentally OD on acetominophen...not everyone realizes that there is acetominophen IN the Nyquil and take a couple extra-strenght Tylenol on top of it when they're sick...this can ruin your liver and even kill you.!!! Thank you Atomic. I just now got off my cycle and have been taking it to help me sleep with my cold. I was just worried that is would mess up my sway in anyway if I was taking. But I will stop.
