Thank you, I hope you're right! I have seen so many posts on in-gender that look identical to mine, or where I can't see a nub at all and the 'experts' telling me there's no clear nub, are telling me the other posters that its 100% a girl. I really really hope its a girl!

Does anyone have any guesses based on skull theory? I've compared them to boy and girl scans, but at this point everything is looking the same to me, and I'm starting to think it'll be a boy and not the little girl the doctor guessed it would be...I'm trying not to get my hopes up for a girl and have them let down. Thanks everyone for looking.

I posted on in-gender, and one of the people that say they are an ultrasound tech, said that the nub is cut off at the tip, and that the baby's hips are twisted and you can't tell for sure what it is, and that they see lots of white lines but no clear nub and they end up being a boy. I hate to say I will be disappointed if its a boy, but I will. My husband has a son with his ex-wife, and he said we are one and done for a baby. I am hoping all the girl posts are right, and what my sister in law says about her doctor saying he's usually spot on predicting by heartbeat, and says mine will be a girl, like my niece was. Fingers crossed its a girl! 3-5 more weeks of waiting depending on if I wait to have the doctor do my ultrasound, or go a little bit early to the next town over and have a 3D one. Wish me luck with the waiting!

I wouldn't guess based on that picture but I just wanted to let you know that heartbeat is 100% disproven as a way of predicting a baby's gender. I've had doctors and midwives alike give me girl guesses based on heartbeat and had boys and then my girl has the lowest heartrate of any of my babies.

The skull shouts girl! The nub kind of does but the line of the spine suggests baby is either twisting or on her side a bit, so yes it looks very girly, but I'm feeling cautious for you.
