Is there such a thing as an appetite suppressant? One that you can take whilst TTC pink?
(to help with the cravings and snacking?)
Or would they sway blue / hurt your efforts ttc ??
Going back on the diet 110% strict! But having had almost 10days off the diet I'm struggling again now....

You're back!! I thought you were taking a break- sanity and whatnot.
Glad to see you. So funny you ask this, I asked my husband about it yesterday. Bought a bag of Baked Lays to have a few a day and trying, at this very moment, to keep myself from having ten more. I would be interested to know if anyone knows.

Hi Lassie! Good to see you.
Have you ever heard of Sensa? I was going to ask Atomic about it because it seems harmless. It is sprinkles that you put on food that supposedly trick your brain into feeling fuller sooner. Here is a quote about it from WebMD:
"While it's sometimes called "The Sprinkle Diet," the Sensa weight loss method is not a diet per se.
Sensa sprinkles are food flakes made from maltodextrin, tricalcium phosphate, silica, and flavors. You sprinkle them on food as you would salt or sugar, and they enhance scent while adding either a mildly salty or sweet taste. Savory flavors include cheddar cheese, onion, horseradish, ranch dressing, taco, and Parmesan cheese. Sweet flavors are cocoa, spearmint, banana strawberry, raspberry, and malt.
All the tastants are calorie-free, sugar-free, and sodium-free.
Sensa is intended to work with your sense of smell, fooling your brain and stomach into thinking you're full, Hirsch says. He uses the term "sensory-specific satiety" to describe the process by which smell receptors send messages of fullness to your brain."
I was thinking of trying it.... Atomic if you see this what do you think?Mom to 3 wonderful boyswaiting for our

Do u mind me asking when you say your on the diet strict can u give me an example of what you eat in a day or over a 2 day period as diet is the one thing i dont think i will be able to do - i have 3 boys but have never eaten breakfast - i snack around 10.30 am right through till 6pm ish then eat 1 big meal then snack before bed so short of stopping the snACKING AND JUST EATING 1 MEAL a day i dont think there is much of a pink sway i can do ? PS sorry to hijack your post

The fiber supp is meant to act as an appetite suppressant because fiber expands in your stomach to help you feel fuller.
Raspberry ketones may help with weight loss and may sway pink as well, but not a lot is known about them for either pregnancy safety, or how they would sway.
Other appetite suppressants like phentermine are not safe when TTC and are too much of an unknown for swaying anyway.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Sensa is pretty expensive and may not work for weight loss (according to WebMD and the Mayo Clinic sites), but I do think they're safe and also may help make a boring meal of rice or pasta more palatable (this is more true for IG swayers who are not using herbs and spices - remember, herbs and spices are allowed on LE Diet!) I don't think they'd sway at all if consumed as part of a meal. Maltodextrin is just a kind of starch and they use it to carry the flavoring/scent agents - the idea is that if your nose "thinks" you're eating some ranch dressing on top of your broccoli, it might make you feel more satisfied than just plain broccoli. So I would say if you can afford it, Sensa would be a good addition to a sway but don't rely on it to make you lose a massive amount of weight.

To do diet, all you need to do is just eat 1500-1800 cals a day, 40-50 g protein, 25-60 g fat (20-30% cals from fat, so the amount of fat varies depending on how many cals you're eating), avoid multivitamins and heavily fortified foods. Anyone can do diet and it's the most important sway tactic there is.
Do not eat one meal a day for swaying. You need to eat 2-3 meals a day. Skip breakfast (postpone it as long as you can.)
There are a lot of threads in the Dream Member section that will help you if you're interested in that. Most of the diet stuff is in the DM section.
Check out the food threads where people exchange meal ideas, like "april food thread, june food thread" I'm not sure if anyone's started one for July yet.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
