Please advise! Trying to sway for a girl but also want to get pregnant soon!

Hi everyone! I'm new to the board and can really use some advice! Here's my background:

I'm 35, DH is 30. We have an amazing DS who is 14 months. When I conceived DS, I was doing acupuncture, taking guaifenesin, and used Preseed. We got pregnant the 3rd month of trying, first time using Preseed. I'm pretty convinced Preseed did the trick for us.

I'm set to ovulate next week. I've been taking calcium and magnesium supplements. I'm already a petite person, weighing 110 lbs so have not been on LE diet. DH has been FR everyday but we have not BD since AF. I plan to BD with a 2-3 day cut-off, but the question is, should I use Preseed? I am naturally very dry and could use some help, but am afraid this will sway boy (I also have a history of bacterial vaginosis, so I don't want to use douches, EW, or canola oil).

I am very eager to have a little girl, but another reason why I want to get pregnant soon is because I'm very unhappy with my job, but they offer a one-year maternity leave (!). So the longer it takes for me to get pregnant, the longer I have to stay at this job.

I don't know how to reconcile my fertility negatives (being 35, little CM) with techniques that will help me get pregnant but sway blue (Preseed). It's so hard to hit the sweet spot of conceiving a girl!

Recommendations welcomed! Thanks for any help you can provide!

I would not use preseed, I would use one of the girl-friendly lubes if you need one. They do cut down odds of conception by a bit but since you're not doing much else to sway, I think it's a good bet for you!!

Since you're in a hurry to get pg, I would suggest BD at your positive OPK. Timing has been totally debunked as a sway tactic, it really does not work and several of us have conceived girls just before or on O day after having 2-3-4 Shettles opposites. I strongly advise against douche, EW, or canola due to risks of infection anyway
