Hi Ladies Im new to this - I was due to start TTC in Sept but may be longer now as col is "stuck" and im looking at an 18 week referal time to see a gynae !! JOY !!!
Anyway Im a little lost on the diet thing as i only consume 1200 calories a day if that and i am 5ft 1 weighing 7 stone but do not exercise so i cant really loose weight and if on this diet you are meant to eat more calories like 1500 - 1800 im going to put on weight not loose it so Im not sure if there is a way around this for me - isthe calorie count important or is it the loosing weigh that counts - i see u all trying to up your calories !!!???!

Maybe just change what you're eating and getting your calories from?

What's your regular eating habits like/ what do you normally eat/how often?

Hi Hun Im a nightmare with what I eat - I dont eat breakfast then lunch is usually a small snadwich or a piece of toast - somedays i dont even bother ..... then i snack a little in the afternoon mainly crisps and i drink a lot of diet coke. Then my evening meal is a big dinner like sag bol, chilli con carne, jacket spud with tuna and salad, fajitas, meat and chips, salmon and vegetables, pasta etc then I snack before bed - bowl of cereal, toast or more crisps, pretzels, nuts that sort of thing.. so I dont eat alot but its probably all the worng stuff - Im wondering what the hell I can do - Im thinking maybe Ill carry on skipping breakfast then fond something low sodium etc for lunch and get some of those diet yoghurts to snack on maybe with some strawberrys and sweetener and then make my main evening meal a small pasta dish .... Im going to become a dream member in a minuite see if i can get some ideas...

Hi mum23boys, I'm like you-a nightmare with eating but unlike you I do have the weight to lose on the diet. The dream member section is great for meal ideas I've cut out meat and snacks and trying to eat a low calorie, low sodium diet. Even you consume the same calories maybe just changing the food you are getting them from will help sway. The muller light yogurts are quite nice

DEFINITELY drop the cereal! It's got added vitamins/minerals.

    Drop the snacking!

Stop eating meat - go vegetarian.

Just stick to two meals. No snacking. Lose even a smidge of weight (not a lot since you're already small!) and then maybe take vitex/try vitex...

I'm not the expert at ALL (Atomic is! The dream member is great... I joined it late on into my planning but glad I did... helpful stuff in there) but I can still see things you can do despite you already eating low calories and not eating breakfast.

Any plans for your husband/partner? Maybe licorice root and frequent release or abstinance?

Im thinking fr but both would be an option and was thinking 1 attempt either with a 3 day cut off or at +opk - i know timing doesnt matter but as all 3 boys were conceived at +opk it does make me stress about it more and obviously i dont want to be stressing and worrying ... if i got pregnant at +opk id always wonder what if id tried a 3 days cut off .... does that make sense ?
with fr does this all need to be discarded or can it be used as such to build up a back log !! ha ha Also which is best does anyone have any advice on fr vs abstain ? My hubby is 31 and naturally fit and healthy - he has a very physical day job outside and plays sport 4 times a week professionally

FR it is best to have him release for at least 7 to 10 days PRIOR to attempts... so ideally dumped/not used. You don't want to actually make attempts until his count is already lowered.
