Feeling just fine today. No symptoms except continuing twinges on both sides. My 2yo ds woke up with a horrible diaper rash so I'm taking him to the dr this morning. He's big enough to say "my tee tee hurts" and "want to sit on the potty" so it might be time for potty boot camp. The kid has seriously sensitive skin.

I threw all the diaper creams out. The only thing that works on my boys, and it goes on super smooth, is A&D ointment. hope he feels better!

Thanks! We cloth diaper because he can't handle whatever is in the disposables, and I normally don't use cream or powder, but we may need a prescription this time. He has lots of swelling in very sensitive spots.

Mom to a blended family of 5 kids (3 boys, 2 girls), with one more due in late May 2013. We swayed for a girl, but have a sweet baby boy on the way.

I had a severe diaper rash with my two oldest boys and this is the only thing that worked even after the prescription failed. They had a virus and had places that were actually cracked/bleeding from all the diarrhea that they had had, so after using all over the counter creams and prescription that I could, the pharmacist told me to try this.

He said to get a tube of Hydrocortisone Cream (anti-iching cream called Cortizone-10 in US) and a tube of
Clotrimazole Cream (athletes foot cream called Lotrimin in the US).

Take both tubes and empty them both together into a seal-able container. Then mix them both together until they are blended well. Put this on the bottom each time you change the diaper. And you should see improvement shortly. For my kids I had to put this on and lay them on a blanket without diapers with the cream on bec of the cracked skin and then once it was better, I used diapers again. I hope this helps your little one.

Aww Krazy, I am so sorry. That sucks. Next month belongs to you, though!! ♥

CravingSalt, I'm so sad to hear that. Not because I want to force another child on you, but because I love your company here. You are young and you may feel differently later on. I did. AND you can stay here and chit chat with us while you wait and make an even bigger, better, badder sway XX

And so another morning home pregnancy test goes on the books....as negative. Blah.

Thanks for asking. It is too early for symptoms, but I don`t have a good feeling about this cycle. I have no tests here (and I won`t buy any), also I took my last temperature this morning. AF is due Friday in one week, we will see.
I hope things get better with your husband! Wishing you all the best!

UGH! I just looked at the calendar...
I hope this month is it for us!!! Next month when I ovulate we'll be at the beach. The exact week. UGH. Way too hard to do with my mother-in-law in the condo with us and the boys running around.
PLEASE, please, PLEASE let me be pregnant right NOW.

Thank you, Kraizy! I will try that. We've had to use lotramin before due to yeasty rashes, but this time the dr says it's just irritation and to try something that is not medicated, like Vaseline. I don't even have any in the house, so we had to go to the store. I generally let him run around pantless for an hour or so every day, just to air it all out, so that sounds like it will help too. Thank you all for the advice!

We had our misgivings about having a third- financially it would be hard, but do-able; things would just be really tight with daycare in the beginning since we both work full-time. Time and energy-wise, I knew it would also be a little stretch because with a mama’s boy two-year old and a developmentally delayed (possibly mildly autistic) three-year old we already have our hands pretty full. But they are both so sweet-natured and great sleepers and so funny- absolutely the lights of my life, and my heart just wanted another. Gender desire also definitely fueled the...fever. I know two attempts aren’t much, but we said we’d give it a little go, give fate a little chance to intervene, then maybe just try and move on. It may be that time. Anyway, sorry for the ramble, but got another bfn at 11dpo this morning and had to say it to somebody.
Awww craving. While I want you to do what is best for your family...I will sure miss you if you decide to throw in the towel. My DH and I started out saying we wanted loads of kids then after the first we said 2. Now he is back up to 3. Financial things come and go but a family lasts a lifetime. Go on girl...be fruitful and multiply! Besides we don't want to lose our obsessing buddy, lol.
