My Sway Plan, please chime in!

Hi Everyone,

After many months of lurking here and reading, I'm ready to make my first sway attempt (pink). I'd love it if you'd take a sec to review it and give me your opinions, thanks.

I've been taking: Folic acid, vit.C, B vitamins, Calcium Citrate, Magnesium, Cranberry.
DH has been taking: Cranberry, Calcium Citrate, Magnesium
Dietary changes: Lots of Crystal Light, No red meat, no potatoes, no tomatoes. Skipping breakfast.
DH to abstain starting from 9 days prior to O.
I'll use RePhresh AF-O every 3 days.
Will DTD right through O, missionary, no big O for me, shallow penetration
1 hr. Prior to attempt, I'll take one dose Sudafed.
After attempt, I'll prop hips 10 mins and then check Ph and make alterations via Rephresh

Does anyone think that I should use a lime tampon in addition to the Rephresh I'll be using?

Don't use lime with RepHresh, the low pH of the lime can make the RepHresh have a rebound effect and cause the RepHresh to raise pH (RepHresh is designed to keep pH at 4.5-5, so when you toss some lime with pH of 2 in there, the RepHresh can actually cause pH to go up.

I personally don't like women to take Sudafed, it can cause strokes in young women taking blood thinners (like cranberry.) I would have you use Zyrtec and/or Benadryl instead but that is your call to make. You can give DH Sudafed, however.

The supps and diet are a very good IG style sway.

can't thank you enough for the resonse, Atomic. One last question I hope that you'll help me with. I'm going out of town on the morning of the 10th and I suspect that I will O that evening or on the 11th. I won't be home again until the night of the 11th. Originally, I had my heart set on a true O+12 attempt but I'd like to have a BFP at the end of this cycle and I'm afraid of missing the egg if I try to wait until I'm home. My DH has been abstaining for 9 days and I was thinking that we'd DTD late at night on the 9th. Should I ask him to do FR while I'm away overnight and then DTD again on the night of the 11th? After reading up on everything I can get my hands on here, I realize that you don't believe that timing is an overly important factor. I'm worried that a second attempt in the fertile window will lead to a higher sperm count, swaying blue. Would love your advice!

I would go ahead and have him switch to the compressed FR and have another attempt on the 11th if you're in a hurry to get pg. As long as you're doing other sway tactics, the extra shot probably won't up numbers of sperm too much and may increase odds of pg.
