Love the belly dloui!!
Hobber, I think having a name you love does help with GD. It helped me with Honor for sure. We got her name because there's a character by that name in one of DH's favorite book series. Are there any character names from books/movies that you really like the character? Maybe that could help you think of a name.Wife to a sweetie DH& Mama to:

skrimpy, as a librarian, well, I just loved your story for both reasons! The "sign" and the library part, haha!
When I found I was due in Sept., I thought about how I've always wanted to get a necklace with my children's birthstones on it...something classy (and something that I could add more stones if needed, haha!) So I thought about the pink topaz stone for Oct. (DS1), then the diamond in the middle (April, DS2), then when I thought of the sapphire for September, it was like I could see my baby girl there...Lillian, I just knew deep in my heart, that the blue stone would be for my baby girl, just like the pink stone had been for my sweet cuddly boy.
Yes, that sounds crazy, but the image I had at the time was so magical, so perfect, it was as if I had been granted a peak ahead of time at the babySo, I definitely believe in signs.

I would LOVE and appreciate more guesses on my scan pics from 12+1. I'm 14+1 now, and I thought I'd stop obsessing over these after 2 weeks, but I am trying to analyze everything I see! Would you take a look and let me know your thoughts? THanks! (Link is below)

No, I'm surprisingly going to go team green! I figured if I could get some good clues from my 12 week scan that would give me some hope to hold out on a surprise. I would have found out if it was obvious one way or the other from these pics, but it still is confusing to me, so we'll just hold out! I hope! I would love a surprise at birth, but I"m still obsessing over these pics to see if it's obvious and i just haven't figured it out! Does that make sense?

I'm rubbish at nub guesses Yahmama but that's one cute baby bean!
aww auroara78, thank you so much for sharing your story!! I love hearing stories like that <3 I really am hoping this little surprise at the library was a sign for us, but trying not to get hopes up too much.
Another thing that happened last night was: we've been looking for a kitten to be a mouser as we have mice under the house. We stopped at a house that had a "mouser kittens to a good home" sign up. When we arrived they had one little kitten left - a little male kittenSo we brought him home. He's so cute and has immediately taken to me. We haven't named him yet though (he's hiding now since the kids are awake lol, and we're trying to figure out a name that suits his personality). But maybe he's a little sign too
AFM: We had our second midwife's appt. yesterday and it went so well. Heard the baby again and our little one has a nice, relaxed heartbeat always in the pretty same range. I like thinking maybe I'll get a laid-back baby this time! Midwife said I look fantastic so that made me feel good. I'm feeling little flutters and I'm really enjoying this pregnancy.
She said I can call to get my scan set up whenever I want; she'd prefer it sometime between 19 and 21 weeks. I'll hit that range in 3 weeks (!!!). I have to go get some blood drawn next week (the label fell off the test vial enroute to the lab so I have to get stuck again, sucks!). I think when my doctor's office calls with those results, I'll have them get the scan scheduled for me.
Still def feeling like I want to be Team Green. I'm really enjoying listening to the baby's heartbeat, feeling little flutters, planning cloth diaper stashes, etc. and I do NOT want any GD to mess that up!!!! Part of me is secretly hoping I'll see some obvious boy parts during the scan, and part of me just doesn't want to know. DH still seems to want to know so we're still thinking to go with the envelope he can take to the office and open if he chooses.
For now DH has told me he's just referring to the baby as "she." But he swears he has no feeling, lol. So I figure I'll keep my hopes up, and maybe him always saying "she" will help me also get used to the thought of a pink bundle.
Sorry to ramble on!!!Wife to a sweetie DH& Mama to:

That is EXACTLY how I feel! I want to enjoy every moment of pregnancy and don't want to regret finding out if we don't hear boy...and I also am secretly hoping to see some boy bits at our gender scan even though we're going to tell the tech we don't want to know! I'm thinking, if it's obviously boy, surely she can't hide everything from every angle? And if I dont' see anything, it's nothing definite and i can still hold out till the end!
