I think it's from AF to O but I'm not sure how much. Dh is never consistent with his and i don't really push it as I read online it can have bad effects even erectile dysfunction (LOL which will definitely lower chances of even getting preg)! So I just casually remind him, mine are 450mg.

When I started swaying I took licorice in tincture (40 drops) with white peony (same amount) myself to lower testosterone.

don't think so. it has some pretty strong effects on hormones, and you don't want that getting inside a little one.

saw pallmetto is a little safer while breastfeeding it is often used to increase breastmilk supply... I am only taking 320mg once a day and my son is not affected by it and my supply only increased a little but DS2 needs it.

Good question! I read about the bad side affects if taken too long, so I just decided to give it to DH the week and a half before our attempt! Not sure if thats long enough but every little bit helps right?!! The bottle I have says 2 a day so Ive just been giving him the recommended dose! I need his little guy to be functioning right!!!

It's NOT SAFE when breastfeeding. And it's actually not safe, not just unknown.

I would VASTLY prefer that no one takes SP while breastfeeding. I don't have a good feeling about it esp. when BF a baby boy, they need testosterone. Originally Posted by purplepoet20

*Licorice Root - 450 mg 3 times a day, only from AF - O (his body needs a break from the licorice root for best results), and it should only be taken for 6 months, then he will need a month‘s break from it (should be timed to include the 2 week break he would be taking anyway, plus an additional 2 weeks. Licorice root will lower testosterone and raise estrogen.
Licorice root has affected the ability of some men to get and maintain an erection. Also, it does carry some risks.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
