Girls, only discovered this site in the last couple of days. This thread is amazing, thank you all so much for posting. As a mum to 2 boys I'll post my story on the other thread but it's the opposite to most of your stories really. Great site, thanks again!

When I conceived my DD... I ate breakfast every morning, but it was usually unhealthy sugary cereal. Then I didn't eat anything until lunch which was usually a sandwhich in white bread or ramen. We ate fast food a lot. I never really ate fruits and veggies. I ate tons of sweets. I love snack cakes and ice cream. I drank lots of diet soda. I was also walking on the treadmill occasionally because I was trying to lose weight before I got pregnant. We also DTD on O in doggy style position because I was trying to sway, but only new about timing and deep penetration (sorry for TMI). DH never really ate breakfast and ate similar to me for lunch and dinner. He was driving truck at the time and didn't get a lot of exercise. HTH

Hi all!
Im new here also and have two lovely little ladies! I have never really thought about my eating patterns when conceiving them until reading your post so Ill try and gather as much helpful info as possible!
DD1-I was 18 when she was concieved, after a night of drinking with my bf (now DH). I had just gotten off BCP as we were actually not together at the time, therefor we had both refrained from BD. It was a one time thing probably pretty close to O..all I knew about O then was that it usually happened two weeks before your next period. Now I know I have 33 day cycles and it was probably a few days before O. Diet was likely not good. I was a firefighter over the summer (she was concieved in Oct) and was not able to eat a lot of regular meals..probably drank more beer then I should have too!
DD2-I believe she was also conceived before O. I was spotty with BCP but I dont believe I was on any before TTC. I had just gotten married prior to TTC so I had been eating lightly trying to loose a little weight for that. Probably didnt BD more then once a week. I have always been slender and have done light cardio on and off, never lifted weights.
With both girls I was big on cereal, when I ate breakfast or maybe just a cup of yougurt or bagel with cream cheese. Both were concieved at night, girl on top position. I never noticed any EWCM and could never understand how some women knew when they O just by CM, so i know i didnt have much. Never took vitamins or drank pop or coffee, always drank milk with dinner, average meat consumption. I never ate a real consistant diet of anything that I can remember. Lots of cheetos and sweets!! DH usually doesnt eat breakfast and eats junk for lunch and meat and potatoes for dinner. Pretty junky diet and drank quite a bit of beer then, and pop and energy drinks. Also takes hot baths..strange I know lol...and chewed Copenhagen..he doesnt now so would be interesting to see if that helps with a boy since he eats a lot more since quiting!Last edited by 4Giffins; September 14th, 2012 at 03:22 PM.

With DD1 i was eating a lot of milkshakes strawberries, cookies, milk, yogurt you name it we bd thru o from af to three days after o.
Wit DD2 i ate about the same pasta with alfredo sauce, cheese i love cheese, ice creams, cookies, milk, chocolate a lot of chicken no red meat bd 3 days before O.
With DD3 the exact same diet with a cutt off 2 days before O.
This time i will make the sway of the swater all the opposite and i started on the Boy diet since July12 my attemps is for july 13 God willing. i will take all that blue dust yall boys mamas!! Thanks !!!3 girls
