How many KIWI girls do we have here who are ttc pink?

    Hi
I thought it would be a nice idea to start a kiwi thread so we can compare notes.

If anyone has any ideas on what foods and drinks they are using and what brands, please share.

Also is anyone taking supps and what brand? I live in a small town so am very limited to what i can get and also refuse to have a credit card so sont get to buy online

Look forward to getting to know you!

I used calcifort last time. It has magnesium and calcium citrate. It was expensive but you can buy it a big container which works out heaps cheaper than the smaller amounts. I did buy mine on-line, but you could ask at a chemist/health food shop and they may be able to get you in the larger container. I will find the details and post them for you. I did however just get another cheaper calcium/magnesium supplement when I ran out of calcifort but I didn't realise until after I was preggy that it was calcium carbonate and I read somewhere that calcium citrate is better to sway for a girl. Cranberry tablets are really expensive but I found Red Seal cranberry powder really cheap at the supermarket. I was going to post the details on here to make sure that they were ok as I think you need to be careful that they don't contain potassium. I just got the vitex from a normal health food shop. I will post the details of what I used when I get the baby to sleep. I have seen sylk and acijel on NZ websites. I think you can buy them at chemists though as well but I still need to look into this. cheers

Christchurch aye, I hope your home is ok after all the shakes! Im a coaster so only a few hours away.

    Just replying from previous thread.

I like the idea of a weekly menu, maybe we could both come up with some meals to go on there!
So how old are your boys? How have you found peoples reactions to swaying? Ive found its better to keep it to myself so thats why i just talk about it online rather than to friends and family.

What is your opinions on the pos and neg ions? also the bio rythym charts? I have found that chart to be quite accurate for myself and a few others i know. So i will be adding that into my plan. I would ideally like to have my perfect plan all sorted then ttc.
I didnt really try last time to sway apart from taking a few supps so this time i will be giving it 100 percent

Luckily we are ok where I live. We know people who have lost their houses/businesses and who had very close calls i.e. in buildings that collapsed. Not cool at all. Yes I was looking at the Treasures website and based my sway for a girl on this, i.e. no banana's, cranberry, calcium, magnesium, cut off. My husband has a sister so I was thinking that a loose sway may work if his parents had a boy and a girl and I was hoping it wouldn't take to much to get a girl. I am not sure about the pH tester. I work in a lab and wonder if it has a big probe you actually would need a lot of sample to get an accurate pH. This may be tricky if you take supplements to dry everything up. Can you tell me what pH meter you are looking at. I have a 4 year old and just had another boy - 8 weeks old. But my hubby is keen to try again for a girl so we would need to have a much closer age gap this time as I am getting old. So we were thinking of starting to try at end of year and into early next year. Trying not to think about such a close age gap but I think we would regret not trying one last time for a girl. My older boy loves children so I am sure another boy would be cool but I really want to try my hardest for a little girl. I have just found this site so I am still needing to read up about pos and neg ions? also the bio rhythm charts. I found some ion watches on trademe so I was going to look into these and see if they could be used for girl swaying. I would be keen to come up with a meal plan so I will start researching. Looks like there is a lot of information so may take a while to work it out so would be good to help each other with this. cheers

I have had very hurtful reactions from people in regards to me swaying for a girl. My 2 sisters and my husbands sister all have boys and girls so I really don't think people who have their girl understand how heart breaking it is not to have your own daughter. My twin sister has twin boys the same age as my older son. She didn't sway and had a girl 5 weeks before my new son who I tried to sway pink for. Its been a bit of a tough time especially when her husband was bagging me for swaying and telling my husband that I was horrible because I really wanted a girl. He forgets that he was very vocal about wanting a girl before they found out what they were having. I think if you have mixed genders you will never understand that people feel upset if they will never have a son or daughter. My dad also made it very clear he wanted more granddaughters and not anymore grandsons. So I feel weird around him and don't even want him to hold my new son at all. He kept on saying to me that 'you never know they may have got your scan wrong and you are really having a girl'!! I try not to think about it but it does make me upset and I wonder what the reaction will be if I have a third son?

Jude, i just read your post and it made me feel so sad for you. I truly believe that your dad and family would welcome another boy into the family! But in some ways i can relate because when i was pregnant (after swaying girl but didn't find out), my partner's dad said he was hoping it would be a boy as they already had two girls (my partner's sister has two girls). I remembered thinking at the time "well, it IS a girl, so you better be ready to be disappointed!". It turned out i was pregnant with a boy (we didn't find out at the scans) and after the labour etc the thought crossed my mind that he would be satisfied with a grandson but he never said anything about being excited by having a grandson. I don't know why. Anyway, you just never know! I am sure your boys are beautiful and your family should be very lucky to have them in the family. I am sure you are a great mum to those boys too. I hope you get that daughter you long for! hugs, babushka. xx

Hi Kiesse, I have had a look at the bio rhythmic charts. Mine seem to be the opposite for my boys i.e. conceiving in strong girl zones (I think I read it correctly?). What sites are you using to calculate your bio rhythmic charts? I also conceived both my boys in the new moon which is meant to sway girl? I wonder if I am back to front for these? Very weird. Also do you know if conceiving in Sept/Oct for us in NZ sways girls. That's what the girls on here say but other websites say different months? I conceived both my boys in winter so I guess I should aim for summer just so its different to my boys? I have been looking at the foods. I am very little so I am not sure if the starvation type diet would be good for me? Do you plan to do this type of diet or just eat foods from the acidic range? Also are you planning on skipping breakfast as it seems that people think this is really important to a girl sway? cheers Jude
