I have been team green with my first 2 pregnancies and I asked my ob whether gender was recorded in the ultrasound reports. He said that no it never was. With my 3rd pregnancy we did find out and I asked for "potty shots". The sonographer told me that she could not give me these as the shots she took were all meant to be for medical reasons... she said they simply dont take potty shots as looking for gender is not the aim of the ultrasound, merely something that can be looked at as an aside if the parents wish. With my second son they said to me that it was good we didnt want to know what gender he was as we wouldnt be able to see anything anyway, as he had his legs crossed. They were not concerned at all about not being able to visualise this part of him - it seems to be that there is no medical reason for them to look at the genital region unless the parents request it. I dont think the information would neccesarily be in your file.

Surely she is breaking patient confidentiality too, whatever info is in your files is between you and your doctor - not to be accessed by an uninvolved person for her own amusement. I hope she was just trying to muck around with you - totally not on, regardless of her intentions. I hope you can move past it and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. I think you are having twin girls. (I do find it ironic, if this girl is the only person who does know what your babies are... she does not know that there are literally hundred of women all around the world waiting with bated breathe to find out what your babies are! She is privy to some pretty special information, if she does know). Hugs to you.

What a b%tch!!!! I would definitely make a complaint and I would also find another specialist. I cannot fathom how this woman thought it would be ok to say that, given her professional position. I don't think the gender of your babies would be recorded anywhere, particularly if you have stated that you did not want to know. Totally forget about it. It means nothing.

I think she is joking. My doctor didn't even know the gender if I didn't tell him.
She is being unprofessional and mean.
AND
if your twins are fraternal, you have about 75% chance of having a girl! (I had two girls before boy/girl) twins and did all the math! The most common arrangement of frats are B/G.
