Are we meant to be eating sweats with our girl sway ? Is it good for pink or just a safe way of getting empty calories ?

When I was on the LE diet, it was the only way I could reach my daily goals without going over on calories, sodium and protein. I really liked them too so the more sweets I ate, the happier I was on the diet! I miss my swedish fish and devil food cookies!!!

Yeah, think ppl eat sweets mainly for empty calories. Skittles are meant to be good. My thing is fizzy drinks so I have my can of coke for calories and because I wouldn't manage the diet without it.

I think it's also for the blood sugar drop right after the blood sugar spike (because of insuline release).

Because they are tasty! haha. No I ate them pre-pregnancy because they are considered acidic and unhealthy--sways for girl. I eat them now because it's one of the few things I can eat without gagging.

Some evidence indicates that a diet high in simple carbs may sway pink (in mice) and it fits in with the whole "eating like a poor person".
But the main reason is because it's the only way that many of us can keep a reasonable amount of weight on without going overboard on fat and protein. Mum23, I know this isn't true for you personally, but for many of us we are actually eating fewer carbs than we were before (because our diets are calorie restricted unlike our typical boy diets) but the carbs are a higher % of our caloric intake compared to fat/protein. Plus, it makes it way easier to stick to the diet. I actually think the LE Diet is easier to stick to than some diets simply becuase you can have a bit of empty carbs here and there every day.
The only people who should be limiting carbs on LE Diet are people with PCOS or insulin resistance. If you're in that category, limit carbs to 2-3 servings of whole grains, low carb veg, and fresh fruit (unsweetened)!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
