The "don't worry about one little flaw" is my favorite thing about you ladies. You can't sit and wait till every little thing sways boy, you'll get one maybe 2 shots per year and there is still no guarantee you'll get your guy. I'm all for doing your best and hoping it's sticky.

Yea, I'd be hitting menopause when my perfect month would come around with all the stars aligned!

Aqua, were you talking about Maz? I wonder if she's actually having a boy? I think she ended up thinking she was right before we all fled from IG. Dang, I loved that girl, wish she came over here to play. She did a freakin' headstand after she dtd, remember? That is some dedication to swaying!

    Hey Hey ladies!

Lola I miss Maz too ... I assume that's who Aqua was referring to b/c I remember exactly the quote "B12 sways HEAVILY for girl" ... that was what Tamara told her, and oh I remember how it messed with her. Last I remember she did pop on and say that the 20wk u/s showed boy, in spite of the earlier ones leaning girl. I do have a friend IRL who was told girl at 16 wks, but boy at 20 ... and he is definitely a boy. I hope she does in fact have a blue bean in there. I've always got a couple extra fingers crossed for our Mamas who already have several girls, KWIM?

Swaynpray, I was getting over a stomach bug when I got pg with DD2 but I was NOT swaying at all ... I really think if you were doing diet, supps, etc. I wouldn't worry about the sickness.

Yeah girls. I was talking about Maz. I thought about her few times. Wish we could see her updates somewhere and touch base with her. It did feel like a roller coaster for her over there. Yeah.. her earlier scans were not clear. Hope the one she got at 20 week was the right one and she got her blue bean.
our big girl ..and our bouncy baby

Quit my job and I'm now and loving every bit of it (well most of the time

I bet she is about to have that kid! Wantalittleman is having her little man (scheduled section) on May 2! Holy crap, I would have been due this month if my first attempt worked. It's been THAT long. WOW.

Anyway, on the sickness issue....just DON'T take an antihistimine or anything that dries up your nose, because it will dry up the same boy-friendly mucus in your cooter, too. I think you guys already attempted, so don't get freaked out if you did! Just saying, in case.....

I am so glad I found you girls over here!! The support is amazing!
I had stopped swaying with regards to timing, and such but all the girls due when I was due are delivering and they are having boys so it is making me want to sway again. We have only been doing doggy {sorry if TMI} as I feel like it will help, but then I read lots of sways where they were successful in getting their boy in missionary position...what do you girls think? I am going to do diet changes, timing and lots of praying...I just got AF today and was upset but glad that it is back to normal, as it was a 28 day cycle...maybe all the stress was causing changes in my cycle...who really knows right?

Jen, I am so glad we touched base again!! When is your dreaded due date coming up? Mine is Tuesday and my DH is so sweet and took the day off work and we are going to take the girls somewhere for the day and then do dinner just us...he has been great as I feel like all I do is think about the baby we lost and how we should be having a child right now...I cannot stop the tears lately and feel right back to where I was when it happened.

Lola, quick question...I am just wondering if you ended up using clomid? I am turning 35 the end of this month and really want to be pregnant and was going to ask my OB for it...my DH doesn't want to do fertility stuff but agreed to clomid so thinking we might start it next cycle. I read it sways girls but see that TONS of girls had boys on it...Any advice.

I get the sense that things are more relaxed over here which is great...I truly believe that we get what we get but that swaying a little makes us feel better that we tried! I too needed a break from IG as I was stressing about everything I ate, drank and did! even fans blowing, scents of candles going, it all became a little much...glad to be here!

Princess, I did not do Clomid....it happened naturally, thankfully. My doctor said after 6 months of natural ttc she would put me on it, but I did get pg and had the chemical on month 6. She asked me to take a month off, and we got pg again on month 8. With me naturally getting pg on month 6, she said probably no need because I was ovulating on my own. My dr is not against Clomid, but she does not presribe it unless there is evidence that there is no ovulation. I think she doesn't want people to risk twins if unnecessary. If I were you, I would ttc for a few months without it and see what happens, unless you and your body are fine with gestating mulitples. I am just more of a natural girl....I'd rather not mess too much with mother nature unless absolutely necessary, kwim? And it does indeed dry you up, which sways girl, but you could try to counter that. And true, lots of boys are born on it. Babydes took it for a couple cycles, maybe she can give her opinion. If you are ovulating on your own, I would not use it though.

Oh, and I forgot to say, that I really think cutting all dairy out of my diet messed with my fertility somehow. The IG diet was not good for me. It's only when I added dairy back in that I got bfps, two in a row!

Thanks Lola...I have been adding milk back into my diet too as I am scared it will be hurting my fertility. Did you do the IG diet then? how much dairy did you have?
What are your thoughts on positions affecting gender...thanks!
