Pinkin, how high were your bile levels? Still "normal", or not? I know you said they had risen, but were they still in the normal range? How soon will they induce you? I am going to get tested again next week and see what my Dr. says.
Peony, I bet your baby won't get too big if your last one was only 6 lbs. I hope you get to go naturally and don't have to be induced.
Mocha, I am worried about having to go to the hospital alone, too. My family is all planning to come around the due date, and I am worried I will go early and have to be in labor without DH there. I guess I really only need him there for the pushing part. I just hope it doesn't come to that. What will you do if your DH isn't there for the whole thing? Are you okay giving birth without him there?
Auroara, Please don't feel like you are lacking in something because you haven't had the opportunity to push a baby out your hoo-ha. Seriously, it isn't that great of an experience! I wouldn't have minded having C-sections. Labor pretty much sucks!2004

They were just above normal range which does not suprise me because I knew the symptoms and they were only mild going back 3 weeks ago compared to now, I just cant cope with this anymore I feel like I am going a bit insane.
I am heading out in half an hr to get another test done my ob said the blood test results take ages to get back I am booked in to see her in 2 weeks but she will call me if my levels are even higher.
I am not sure when they will induce me maybe 36 or 37 weeks, She will probably talk to me about that the next time I see her. I think he will be a big baby so he should be a good size even tho i dont even really look pregnant!!!!! I will get an ultrasound done i think to check size and see how he is goingDW 33

My doctor told me to take an antihistamine, like Benedril or something, to help the itching, but I have been afraid to. I don't like taking weird stuff when pregnant. Maybe ask your OB about it though?

I am taking phenergan 25 mg at bed time. My itching starts at about 5pm and starts to die off a bit around 11am. So it lasts all night and morning. It is not too bad in the day time but by early evening I am a mess so thats why I take it at bed time plus if I took that in the day it would make me too sleepy.
My ob said she is looking up other options for me and will give me a call through the weekDW 33

You know, my DH is so beyond useless in the delivery room that I don't think I'd mind all that much if he weren't there. Last time I went into labour he slept through the whole part of labour when I was still at home, leaving me to time my own contractions, and occasionally asking me to try to be quieter so I wouldn't wake up the kids. Then when we finally went to the hospital he was in a pissy grumpy mood from lack of sleep, and he actually got mad at me about something I don't even remember now and stalked off in front of me when I was trying to walk to the maternity ward. Then in labour he was just 'there' - my midwives offered far more support, TBH. He even almost fainted at one point from hunger and the sight of all the blood, so I found myself worrying about him instead of the task at hand.
So, to make a long story short - it really wouldn't be the end of the world if he weren't there. I'm really close with my midwives and no matter what will feel like I have a 'friend' there with me. He'll be sad if he misses the birth, and I would be sad for him since obviously I'd like him to be there for the birth of his daughter, but I don't think I'd suffer all that much except for the discomfort of having to take a taxi to the hospital on my own while in a lot of pain.
