I feel like I have had too many cheat meals since I started the diet mid july that my sway will be affected by it.. Now I have been completely meat free since april.. but I have had cheat meals here and there ( mostly take out) since then. Like today I met my mother in law and friends Kohls, then invited me to lunch. Well of course they pick a steak burger place. The only thing on the menu that was meat free was a grilled cheese and french fries.. so I had that. Now I feel like I can't eat anything else today. Now I feel like i should skip september's attempt and wait until October.

Seriously do not do that if that's the only meal you are eating today. That actually fits into the parameters and your body will think times are hard if thats all you've eaten. Blood sugar will be low too. Also, Many ladies have a cheat meal each month. I would not waste a month. It's the overall pattern.
Cycle#1 Jan/Feb 2013: 10 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 8 fertilized. 1 expanded blast frozen to batch.
Cycle #2 May/June 2013: 17 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fertilized, 3 blasts frozen. Sending all 4 to Natera: 2 normals- 1 girl (cycle 2) & 1 boy (cycle 1)
Cycle #3 September 2013: 11 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 8 fertilized. 4 biopsied. 2 normal boys
FET #1: October 25th: BFN
Cycle#4: Feb/March 2014: 12 eggs retrieved, 11 mature, 10 fertilized. 1 normal XX! Transfer March 3rd. BFP: 3/9/14!!!! Beta: 7dp6dt:38, 9dp6dt:139!, 6weeks 1 day: heartbeat!!!
She's here and I'm in love

I totally feel your pain! I, too, feel like I've had too many cheat meals, and it's usually for the same reason as you - some kind of event in which I don't have the best food options to choose from, and I end up having to make some kind of high-calorie vegetarian choice. I actually have another event coming up -- a huge birthday celebration for my DH's grandmother at a big fancy Italian restaurant -- right before I'm due to O on our first attempt month!
I was going to get stuffed shells because that's one of the meal choices and it's vegetarian, but I know I would gobble up the entire dish and consume a TON of calories and fat, so I'm trying to plan ahead this time. I asked my MIL (who is organizing the event) if they could just make me a really large ceasar salad with dressing on the side as my main dish. I'm hoping the chef can do that. I'm so tired of all these events in which I've got to practice huge restraint and try so hard to figure out things I can eat. It's really exhausting.
Anyway, from what you've posted, it really doesn't sound nearly as bad as what I've been like with the cheating, and I think you're smart to reign in your calories for the rest of the day when you've had a less than ideal meal.I really don't think you need to postpone your sway - you still sound like you're doing really well!
And FWIW, even with struggling with the same issue as you, I'm not planning on postponing my sway. We can only do our best, and who's to say that if we continue to postpone, that we wouldn't have the same issues with cheating anyway, right? I still think you're good to go! Just try your best to make your overall diet as close to LE as possible. I'm trying to do the same. Good luck to you!!

Thanks everyone, I don't think I am going to skip September. DH wants to go for it, so we are!!
Sweetpea hopefully the chef can make you a salad. I hate being put in situations like that. I HOPE I am pregnant before Thanksgiving because we are going out of town to my MIL and they cook a Feast! I don't want to be put in that situation. And Christmas I am going home to visit family for over a week.. so I NEED to get pregnant september or october!2008

That's exactly how I feel, Navy - I also NEED to get pg before the holidays or else I WILL eat the house down. I married into a very large Italian family (who used to own a restaurant years ago), and they are all very good cooks. Thanksgiving is unbelievable in this family: More food than you can ever imagine, spread across several tables and countertops, and at least 8 or more homemade pies, as well as other desserts. I'm really scared to not be pg by then! And the whole holiday season from October until the end of December is just so packed with food-centered events that it would make it so hard for me to continue this diet. FX we all get our BFP's before this holiday season begins!!

We're doing FR, but I haven't yet decided if I'm going to do 1 attempt or more in September. Definitely multiple attempts in October, though.

If you've been on the diet since July, you have tons of leeway with cheats. Try not to worry, this isn't like the IGD/FGD where you're trying to attain some mystical state of being where your body is in some kind of perfect balance and that magically makes you conceive a girl. LE Diet is like turning the volume up and down on a stereo - it happens very gradually and one meal, even one day or week, can't undo the good you've already done. It takes time and a LOT of consistent cheating, day in and day out, to turn that dial back the other direction.

Atomic, I know you've said this time and time again (and you must feel like a broken record!), but I will never get tired of hearing this response from you. Even though I *know* what you've said is true, I still can't help but worry sometimes. These posts from you brings me back down to earth and helps me relax and trust in this whole swaying process.
Thank you!!2008
