Zanacal - Thank you. Do you know if saw P changes the length of your cycle at all? I don't really understand how it works, only that it can help remove testosterone from blood ******. Is testosterone the most important thing for ttc girl? We've been trying now for a year and can't bear missing a month! Would it be better to drop to 1200cal/day for the next 2 weeks? I desperately want a girl but have had enough of trying now. I'm worried that with FR we can't just mix BD and FR leading up to O, as I don't want to turn the whole process into something totally mechanical! Sorry to bombard you all with so many questions. This impatient streak keeps popping up occasionally, stressing me out that I haven't conceived over the last year and I really don't want a big age gap between no2 and no3 - at the moment it'll be 4 years, whereas there's only 23 months between my two at the moment. Silly how that bothers me so much! x x

Hi girls sorry to be MIA but been a busy two weeks - will catch up tomorrow. Had dave baptised today. I am just never amazed at how crap some people can be at being a family. So bloody angry at some people when it's such a important day! Fil in law pissed straight off from the church to the pub, then turned up to the party two hours late then left as soon as the red wine ran out! Also mum and sister didn't even bring a card! Bil left after a hour to go out sailing, mil made comments on how some people 'don't know when to stop having kids' gaggh!! I'm having ten more just to p eople off now! But on the plus side, it was a lovely day and it's been lovely thinking about how much I had to do to get him, and how he finally decided to join us.

Hello Maybebabythree, congrats on your son's baptism. It's so true isn't it that we can't choose our family, but we can choose our friends! hopefully in the years to come you'll be able to look back on the day and 'forget' all the annoyances. How do you find the age gap between your boys?

Awww maybe congratulations on his baptism!
I was at a baptism yesterday as well for my cousins little boy! I had a lovely day but I wonder if there were annoyances like that for my cousin also.
Hope you and the boys are all good x

Dreamofpink I think the big age gaps are lovely but they wasn't planned that way. I fell the second week trying for ds1. I had pre eclampsia so it took a bit of courage before I tried for ds2, then he took nine months to conceive. Ds3 took two years to conceive! I was swaying pretty hard and fell pg when I gave up my sway. I wish I hadn't got so stressed yesterday as I feel I let dhs dad spoil it for us.

So it looks like there might be some smog babies being planned then? Good luck every one

Maybebaby - I had pre-eclampsia with my first son too. It took me a while to convince my dh to allow us to try for another and a year later we're still trying! I fell in the second month of trying with both of my boys, but cut-offs have been the biggest enemy to my sway. I'm so glad I can give that up as it stressed me out so much each month. My T levels must've been sky high! I bet you're really enjoying having your third son, so envious of those with little babies - it's a wonderful time!

Sorry to hear that dreamofpink. Pre eclampsia isn't nice. I had high blood pressure this time so I was induced early again. Unfortunately I was re admitted twice after his birth due to my blood pressure. I just don't do the last two months of being pg very well. When you fall pg ask your doctor about aspirin. This baby was a great weigh and they could control my bp with medication. Sure it was the asprin. Yes I love my little chap. Love this age - goes to quickly x

Maybebaby - aspirin is a wonder-drug! I took it with my second son and he was born just after his due date with no bp problems at all. My first son was born at 30 weeks, emergency c-section. Pre-eclampsia is such a horrid thing! I will definitely take it when I fall pregnant next. You sound really happy with your little man, he's a lucky little boy to have joined such a loving mummy.

Hellllooooo!! Been MIA for abot 2wks, damn laptop!!! Problems almost fixed, can get online, just keeps freezing on me!!

Hope ur all well? GL to those TTC!

Kell, girls were about 7wks when the colic started, just as you describe with Lily, worst at night. For me the best thing was the Dr Brown's bottles (know ur BF, but for when expressing?) and the colocynth granules.... for them that was what helped them. Bless her, hope it passes, it's awful when they scream and u can't help! The girls also had silent reflux which didn't help. I also have a fair bit of baby weight to shift, around 4 stone of it!! Lost 8 1/2lbs but had a BAD week this week...oops...

Maybe, hope u had a lovely day for ds3 despite all the family crap. Sure you all did and dh and u were proud and happy your wee bubs has arrived. How have u enjoyed the paralympics??

Better go, tired today. nite all xx
