I was just checking the thread, b/c I thought I remembered your scan being tomorrow and you not being sure if you want to find out!
Have you thought about it anymore?
I'm still feeling so conflicted on finding out during ours next week. DH and I have asked his mom to stay with the kids so we'll be at the scan alone. Part of me really hopes I can tell on my own (because of a penis waving in the breeze at me.........) and part of me just really doesn't want to know. DH still wants his envelope to take to the office, but I'm not sure if he plans to look at it or not.
I never trust mama's intuition and just feel so unsure on if I want to know or not.
I'm not much help, am I!!!?

My u/s is tomorrow and I still don't really know for sure whether to find out! I think I'm going to ask the tech not to say anything, but not avoid the area...like you I'm hoping to see obvious boy parts, but I think I'm just hoping too much for that to happen. We will prob do that then if we don't see anything, have her write it in an envelope and then we can open it when we're ready...mostly because I really do need to know to get rooms planned out and there is a lot of work to do...
When is your gender scan??

I think the envelope is a good compromise because even if you do choose to look, you get to do it on your time, and privately - no worrying about getting emotional in front of the tech.
Mine is next week, the 11th at 10am ET.
I'll admit I've been watching tons of scans on youtube, both boys and girls, around where I'm at in pregnancy. I always like the ones I can't tell on the best, lol.
I will be thinking of you tomorrow <3Wife to a sweetie DH& Mama to:

Funny, after reading this I went to YouTube and watched a bunch of videos! In so many of the boy ones it was sooo obvious...I sure hope mine is like that, but knowing my luck it won't be :/ I'm also going to have dh video the u/s with his phone as my dr. office has a big tv up on the wall where the screen is shown, so a better view. Maybe we'll just take that and analyze the pieces to death instead of having her tell us up front or in an envelope! Don't know...we'll see how things go tomorrow. I'll let everyone know!

To find out or not find out, the evil dilemma! I found out with 3 of mine, the only one we didn't find with was dd1 because we truly didn't care. I don't know if finding out with dd3 helped or hurt GD wise. Advice wise I basically got nothin' lol

With your u/s with Charlie, did you notice boy parts right away? My u/s with my ds was so long ago and I didn't know what I was looking at that it wouldn't help me to know if it would be obvious to me...I'm hoping that if I don't see anything obvious I won't have her say anything, but just tell her not to avoid the area so we can look for ourselves. Guess I have wishful thinking that I will see the obvious or if I don't I can tell myself the boy parts were possibly hiding! ahhh...I am a wreck right now...I just really truly want a brother for my son...:/

The tech had to really look at first but then he spent the rest of the u/s flashing us. I went back through the DVD frame by frame (I'm a psycho like that lol) and there are a quite a few times where you can't see anything. If I'd been trying to figure it out I'd a thought girl and that we'd seen cord a few times. I'm still in disbelief he's a boy though lol

That's totally how I would be too...sometimes I think just because I want something it's not going to happen. And there are quite a few other things in my life where I have succeeded doing something one time then have never been able to replicate it....almost as though I can never do the same thing twice. I'm like that with cooking..the first time I make a recipie is the best. When I was in school I played trumpet and I made what was called All-district band the first year I tried out then the next 6 years I came in just below the cut off :/ Same thing with piano...I played in my first competition and came in first then never placed again. I think of artists who are considered "one hit wonders" and just wonder if things are like that with me. Not that I don't love my girls, because I do...just that I can't replicate a result that I get first if that makes sense. I think I'm rambling...sorry!

I feel the same way. This is part of why I would never sway again, I have no faith that I could get another boy. Even if we wanted another one I know I'd go in knowing it was a girl.

Hi .. I'm new to here but would love all your advice on swaying blue. Did you all get the son you so wanted. I would love to heat stories... How many girls before you got your son. I'm going to do a personalized plan with AS but Amy tips/ advice beforehand would be great. I have three girls x x
