We've gotten only one or two in the past few cycles. I'm still pray that dh will have his week off during ovulation later this month (cycle 6 for us) so that maybe we can up our chances. We've been dtd on o day or o -1, depending on when we can actually see each other. This cycle (5) it was o -5 (unintentionally).

See hope, I had stopped POASing the last 2 months. Too upsetting
But then this month I found a renewed optimism because the tests came back all good, and because we did our attempts differently after finding out my uterus was retroverted, and that new optimism had me back on the poas bandwagon.
It's not fun, all the negatives, not after trying so long
Anyway, thats my ttc bubble burst at the moment, wont be testing anymore, will watch temps and if still high will test on AF due date.

I am also addicted with testing but I remember with DS2 I was charting and that was the cycle I was going to take a break for a while and I didn't test. Well. 18 days dpo my temp was still high and i finally tested!
i am only 4 dpo and so anxious this time waiting til i can test. How early do you all start testing?

I SUCK at the waiting to test game. I have no idea how I am going to wait to find out the gender if I can't even hold out a few days to test! Today I am 8DPO and, naturally, tested
Lol. I know it's stupid to get upset about a negative at this stage...since the potential baby might not even have implanted. But I get worked up over it.
Most women who test early (akabsessively) wait until 8DPO. The chances of the baby implanting and making enough HCG to trip a test is very low before 8DPO. And even that is pushing it. I hear ICs are better for testing early because they have such a low threshold for HCG. I never go with them though because I had a nasty batch that involved indents and very convincing Evaps. That was the end for me...if I can't handle negatives, I certainly can't handle fake positives. I always use FRER and just buy when I have coupons, they are on sale, or offer free tests in a box. It's more expensive, but worth it for my peace of mind.
Anyway. I had to come tell you ladies about my pee obsession. Since I am totally mum to real life people, even DH. It is driving me crazy that I can't just "know" now! Or a week ago...these scientists need to get on the ball and eliminate the TWW all together!A: "Owner" of the following brood:
-Our biggest surprise dude (L: 2009)
-Our rainbow little man (K: 2011)
-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)
-Our lucky charm guy (S: 2015)
We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!
